All info is here https://www.battleforthenet.com/ A lot of website are going to be doing it, it's for a good cause. Roblox participated in the fight against SOPA and PIPA, so why not this? It's a good cause. The internet will be slow and cost more without it.

@Ben Cable companies that supply internet such as Comcast and Time Warner are working with the FCC to get rid of net neutrality, which will no longer allow us freedom when using the internet. Without it, the internet will be extremely slow. It's bad and would be bad for roblox.

Basically: The cable companies' objectives are to make every site pay a fee for being online. If they don't, they will LITERALLY slow down the site by 450% (according to their site). That mean, as you are reading this, the background would still be loading, as for the ads. That is worse than dial-up internet.

Are those companies idiotic? I think we should put Putin in charge of one of these companies. He wants to rule (he would do everything to expand the cable network), not to have money. (joke) Anyway, it's horrible. I live in Latvia, i don't have to worry, but site owners have to. Basically, small sites would die because of this, and yeah the whole internet would die.
