Solar slowly came to stop, his eyes darting from one area to another. He noticed two cats in the distance. They talked, then turned and walked away. Solar narrowed his eyes.
"Must be another Patrol..." He murmured, and continued on his way.
Poolpaw sputtered as fresh snow was kicked at her face. Darksky raced towards her, looking around. "That's weird. I thought we were only ones around here..." He growled. Poolpaw shook the snow from her fur. "Apparently not, considering some jerk decided to bombard me with snow." Darksky purred with amusement. "I have to admit, it was pretty funny." Poolpaw glared at him. "Yeah, yeah, can we just keep going?" |

RattleTail exited the warriors den his pelt was a mess from tossing and turning during his nap, he let out a loud yawn as he began to wake up. He shook himself and sat down grooming his fur down to its original sleek self. He gazed upon the camp to see who was out and about. |

Hazelkit bounded around of the nursery, her tail whisking along the ground. She nudged her sister, Berrykit in the side. "Hey, quit it!" Berry kit murmured, still half asleep. "C'mon, get up already, let's play a game!" Hazelkit said. (:D) "Okay fine.." Berrykit said with a yawn. She opened her eyes up all the way.
Both the kits bounded out of the nursery. Hazel kit glanced around. "Oh, I know, let's play invaders!" She mewed excitedly. Berrykit smiled, she loved that game. "Foxes are invading the camp!!" Hazelkit and Berry kit both screamed at the same time, as loud as they could. Suddenly, frightened and surprised warriors peaked their heads out from their dens. Even some elders looked surprised. Berrykit and Hazelkit wrestled each other. Soon the two kits got worn out. Hazelkit and Berrykit layed on their backs for a moment. Then their mother, Maplebark, poked her head out of the nursery. "Y'all please play a quieter game, y'all are scaring every one." Hazelkit said,"Aww..." |

RattleTail was a bit stunned by the kits when they started yelling but he soon recovered and watched them and snickered a bit when they got in trouble. He stood up and began to walk towards the middle of the camp observing everyone as he woke himself up, his tail made a small rattle noise as his bones rub on one another. |

Oceanpaw silently slid out of camp with Darkkit at her side.
"How is it you can see better at night then during the day?" Oceanpaw whispered to her sister.
"I don`t know. I just can." She whispered back. They were making there way to the tree they constantly saw their mother Ashtree climb. She had been named for her tree climbing skills and Darkkit wanted to be like her mother who could climb trees. They made their way to the willow tree near the end of their territory. Darkkit paused at the base of the tree. Oceankit was just behind her.
"Good luck." She whispered.
Darkkit took a breath and started to climb. Neither of the cats saw another cat lurking in the shadows, watching. Darkkit was moving fast and day was approaching. Today she was supposed to become a warrior, but before then, she wanted to be able to climb trees like Ashtree. She was nearing the top when cats started to appear from the shadows. Oh no, She thought. They found out she had left camp. Ashtree appeared and was calling for Darkkit to get down. Darkkit had made it to the top, and then started to climb down. Wen she reached the ground she was dragged back to camp, where a clan meeting was being held.
Her warrior name became Darkwillow after the willow tree she climbed. |

Stormfang and Blizzard finally approaches Duskclan camp. "So this is what the camp looks like.." Blizzard murmured. Stormfang looked at her curiously. She was almost as big as him, and it looked like she had better battle experience. They both padded into the camp. |

Hazelkit glanced over at Berrykit and saw her smiling. "What?" Hazelkit said. "Do you want to come out into the forest?" She mewed. "But we aren't allowed to remember?" Hazelkit mewed back. "Oh, please, you know you want to see the forest too!" "Okay fine," Agreed Hazelkit. |

Berrykit and Hazelkit glanced around and quickly slipped out of the camp entrance. They gazed around the forest. A leaf fluttered down in front of Hazelkit's face. She batted at the leaf. Suddenly, Berrykit stopped. Hazelkit looked over at her sister. "What is it?" "Something smells weird." Berrykit mewed. "It's coming from over there!" Berrykit mewed, pointed her nose towards a large hole (About the size a fox could fit in). "C'mon, let's check it out!" Hazelkit was a little bit nervous. "Okay I guess." Hazelkit mewed. As they crept into the hole, the stench grew stronger, and Hazelkit could smell it. When she breathing it, it burned her nostrils. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Mewed Hazelkit. "Of course it's a good idea! Even if it is something bad, we can chase it off, and the warriors won't think of us as annoying little kits. I mean, what if we get moved up to warriors?" Berrykit mewed. Hazelkit grinned. "Well that would some wonderful." She giggled. They stopped as when they heard a threatening growl. |

RattleTail padded out of camp he wander a bit but before long he smelled something strange and threatening. His ears perked up as he sniffed for its direction, when he faced the direction it was coming from the fur on the back of his neck rose as he smelled some kittens too. "The kits!" He quickly made a dash to the scent not caring if his tail was making a small racket. |

"Kits!" Fogrise grumbled into Turvyheart's ear. Grunting in agreement, the black warrior padded over to the young kits who had collided into the fresh-kill pile.
"What are you doing out of the nursery?" Turvyheart snapped, the young warrior looming over the tiny kits.
Spiderkit flinched, shaking a dead mouse off her back. But her brother, Bluekit, wasn't backing down, instead his tail shot up indignantly. "Whitetiger made us leave after finding out that Ruekit is deaf! It's not OUR fault!"
Nearby, Badgercloud, who had mothered quite a few kits, let out a wail of surprise and sadness. "It's must be heartbreaking to find out your kit is deaf! I'll go check on them."
As the white and light brown, badger-marked she-cat dashed toward the den, a few warriors crowded the kits curiously. "What happened?" Skyfur, Turvyheart's sister, asked.
Bluekit blinked, shrinking away from the warriors. Spiderkit blinked her green eyes, surprised by her brother's uncharacteristic shyness.
"Well," Spiderkit began, covering for her brother, "Bramblesplash beckoned Whitetiger over, and he just started wailing, muttering about Ruekit being deaf. It was weird! How could he come to a conclusion like that?"
A wave of unease crashed through the surrounding warriors, most of them scuffling the ground awkwardly.
This angered Bluekit. "What's wrong? Tell me!"
"And me!" Spiderkit piped up in annoyance.
"Your mother," an older warrior spoke deeply, stepping through the crowd. "is deaf."
"Dartfrost!" a squeaky voice scolded from the back of the group.
"Hush, Bubbletwist. They needed to know sometime."
"Their parents should of told them!" Fogrise growled.
"Yeah!" Turvyheart and Skyfur meowed together.
Dartfrost sighed. "Go back to the nursery, little ones. You've been out too long."
The two kits nodded, a glimmering respect for the old warrior glowing in their similar green and blue, round eyes. |

Hazelkit and Berrykit both yelped in surprise. "Run!" Screamed Hazelkit. They both dashed out of the tunnel. Hazelkit knew that the fox was behind her, because she could feel its hot breath on her tail. She kept running, not knowing where she was. Suddenly the hot breath was gone. Then she saw a scarlet red pelt flash, and she saw a brown gold and cream tiny pelt flash after it. She knew what the smaller pelt was. Her sister. |

RattleTail's nose flared with the scent of fox he jumped over a log and leapt over a kitten as he slammed into the fox's face with blood over it, he hissed angrily and nipped at its ears as he slammed his paws and claws over its face trying to claw its eyes as he also was trying to keep it from snapping him. |

Once the young kits were out of site, safely inside the nursery with their parents and deaf littermate, Dartfrost turned back to the warriors who had opposed him exposing Brmablesplash's deafness.
"You should've waited for Whitetiger to tell them," Skyfur spoke first, stepping closer to the old black and white specked tom.
"They took it well," Dartfrost retorted, lashing his long tail.
"They're just kits!"
"Stupid ones.." Turvyheart muttered.
A long-legged brown she-cat padded up to stand beside Turvyheart. Dartfrost braced himself for more angry meows from her, but she merely swatted Turvyheart's ear and scathingly mewed, "If you're going to be so childish, go make yourself useful."
A few surrounding cats began murmuring in surprise. Dartfrost was just as surprised.
But Skyfur didn't seem to be. "Right." she meowed. "Turvyheart, let's go hunt before Tigerleg rips our ears off!"
Muttering curses, the two young littermates padded away from the group of cats edgily.
What was that about? Dartfrost wondered momentarily.
"I told blame you," Tigerleg mewed, glancing over her shoulder at Dartfrost.
Surprised by the depth of sadness in her eyes, Dartfrost managed an awkward nod.

"Will she die?" Spiderkit squeaked.
"She'll be fine." Whitetiger soothed, pulling Spiderkit, his only hearing-able daughter, closer.
Bluekit tore at the moss-covered den floor. "It was so loud out there!" he complained.
Bramblesplash looked at Bluekit worriedly, as if she knew something her mate did not.
The white and black furred father leaned forward and grabbed Bluekit by the scruff, setting him down near his mother. "Go to sleep," he meowed, nudging Spiderkit with his nose.
The tiny white and orange she-cat yawned pointedly. |

"Stop being ridiculous!" Jetclaw snarled, taking a step closer to the aggressive queen.
"Get away from me!" Lightwind yowled, swiping out at the battle scarred tom.
Jetclaw flinched as her claws hit his eye, yowling in pain.
Lightwind gasped, her fur immediately flattening. "No! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!"
Jetclaw stared at the queen, blood already covering his face. "I-it's o-o-okay." he stuttered.
"Help!" Lightwind screeched, wobbling into camp. "Jetclaw's hurt!"

Lightwind padded out of camp silently, her escorts, Owlswipe and Whitetiger, a fellow queen, Bramblesplash's, mate, following.
"So, what exactly happened with Jetclaw?" Owlswipe meowed, her rough mew breaking the silence.
"He fell, hit his eye on a sharp rock. He swiped it across his eye trying to get up." Lightwind lied, recalling Jetclaw telling her to lie about what had really happened.
"Don't worry about it. You're expecting kits. We have to protect you from the dangers out there. They'll leave you out there if they find out you hurt a Clanmate." Jetclaw had whispered into her ear after they'd gotten him help.
Whitetiger sighed and meowed, "Let's keep going. You DO want your exercise, right?"
Lightwind nodded.
As the three cats continued onward, no cat spoke, until they reached the training area.
"Here's good." Lightwind spoke up.
Owlswipe sat down behind Lightwind, Whitetiger following her peaceful mood.
Lightwind lifted her nose, breathing in the cold air and faint scents of prey. But another scent tickled her nose.
"Badger!" Owlswipe screeched, dashing in front of Lightwind, hissing.
"We need backup!" Whitetiger growled, flexing his claws.
"We can't leave Lightwind alone!"
"I know! And we can't leave her with just one guard!"
"I'm not helpless, you know!" Lightwind snapped.
"Your kits are! Badgers are stronger than even the fittest cat!"
Suddenly, the bushed trembled, cutting off any edgy reply Lightwind would make. A huge, striped creature crashed out of the trembling bushes, its lip drawn back viciously.
Hissing, Owlswipe flung herself at the badger, slashing her claws across its ear. The huge creature avoided her sharp claws, instead swiping at Whitetiger, who was guarding Lightwind.
Forced to avoid the badger's murderous swipe, the tall tom jumping sideways, attempting his own attack.
As his claws hit the badger's chin, it yowled angrily, and swiped at Whitetiger again, forcing him to jump away from Lightwind.
The young queen gasped, realizing she was no longer protected. Her kits were no longer protected! |

"No!" Owlswipe yowled from behind to deadly striped animal.
Whitetiger, bunched his muscles, preparing to leap in front of Lightwind to protect her. But the badger was ready. It glared at the tom, lifted a mighty paw and swiping it at him, sending his flying through the air and into the dust.
"Whitetiger! Get up! Help her!" Owlswipe yelped, beginning to run at the badger.
The badger turned on Lightwind, baring its teeth.
Lightwind snarled at the badger, prepared to do anything to protect her unborn kits. Leaping onto the badger's back, Lightwind dug her claws in to cling on.
Owlswipe jumped into the badger's face, not noticing Lightwind on its back. She swiped out aggressively at the intruding creature.
The badger swung its head back, growling in surprise as her claws connected with its nose. As blood welled from the wound, Owlswipe swiped out again, slashing at its neck and eyes, each hit connecting.
The badger growled again. Weakened and unsteady, the badger stepped sideways a few times, trying to get its balance. The creature growled, this time more frightened, as it toppled to one side, flipped over on it's back.
Whitetiger, who had apparently been clawing at the badger's flank, jumped away to avoid the fall.
But the only cat who was not visible in the scene was the only reason they were out in the forest: Lightwind.

While Stormfang was showing Blizzard around, he smelled something strange. "Hopefully he can handle it..." Stormfang muttered, and Blizzard looked at Stormfang, wondering what he meant. "Let's find the leader or deputy to ask if you can join the clan," Stormfang said, smiling at Blizzard. Blizzard nodded, and looked around the camp. |

Hazelkit watched, horrified, as Rattletail fought the fox. She stred at her sister's body, laying still on the ground. |

RattleTail leapt off the Fox and spun around, he knew he couldn't beat this beast by himself his only chance, even if it was risky was to lead it back towards the clan for back up or somehow meet a patrol. He quickly swung a claw slashing across one of the foxes eyes when it tried to bite him then he quickly grabbed HazelKit and her sibling in one mouth and dashed away sprinting at high speeds since the Fox was bound to chase after and be quick. |

Owlswipe continued to drag the queen as quickly as she could, but she was weak from the tussle with the badger, and Lightwind was heavier than usual with her kits so close to being born.
"All the more reason to save her!" a voice whispered into the brown she-cat's ear. Lightwind's body grew lighter, but as Owlswipe looked up to see who was helping her, she couldn't see anyone.
"Don't worry about who's helping! We have to save her!" the voice snapped sharply.
Owlswipe, with a massive effort, dragged Lightwind's limp but alive body into the medicine cats den.

Whitetiger flickered open his eyes, his vision blurry. "Where am I?" he mumbled, sinking back into blackness.
When Whitetiger awoke once more, there was someone next to him. Turning his head slowly, he saw white and ginger fur. "Wingsky?" he murmured.
The shape moved to look at him, her glowing green eyes burning with embarrassment.
"Oh! You're awake. Nobody wanted Bramblesplash to leave your kits, so I.. um.. snuck in. Sorry."
As the thin she-cat stood and padded out of the den, Whitetiger sighed and meowed, "Wait, come back, Wingsky."
The young she-cat hesitated, then turned back to him. "Yeah?" she grumbled, crouching infront of him.
"Thank you.." Whitetiger whispered, giving her ears a quick lick.
Wingsky stood up and padded away from Whitetiger. "You chose Bramblesplash. Enough said."
Before Whitetiger could reply, the clearly sad she-cat disappeared. |

I, as a twoleg run into the DuskClan and rip off all the cats legs off, tearing into their insides eating all there wonderful, juicy, insides. Savoring the moment, the Duskclan leader approaches me. I ask him "What are you doing in my swamp?". He replies "yes". So I take him to the top of a volcano, rip off his limbs off, and throw him in to the volcano sacrificing him to the gods. |
