I know java and a little c++ If you want to become a developer don't start with lua, it will just confuse you when you move on to real languages

Not necessarily, "Lua" can be used greatly to grasp many programming concepts, regardless of it's syntactical differences from "Non-Scripting" languages.

Lua is a great way to learn the basics of programming. And it is in fact a "real" language. Many games use lua encoding.

Regardless of what happened, it's the "Sub-Section" that's recommended to create these kinds of threads in. Also, have you tried using "FieldOfView"?, http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=FieldOfView_%28Property%29

I just meant that because LUA is a scripting language, it has a very different syntax then other more complex languages. This difference makes it not an ideal way to start.
Stonixx
#145783960Wednesday, September 10, 2014 7:45 PM GMT

Actually, Lua and C have a similar syntax... Java, on the other hand, has a similar syntax to c#(another scripting language).

a gun should be visible in first person, if not just parent it to the camera (this will make the gun only visible to the player who owns it) ༼ᕗຈل͜ຈ༽ᕗ RADICAL FEMINISM OR RIOT ༼ᕗຈل͜ຈ༽ᕗ --problemofficers is my bb--
