Yes But we're doing our best to have an original plot as well and it is very original.Also considering there are 3 directors we have to agree on everything and this is what we ended up with
It's obviously going to tamper with the original universe, as it takes place after the Darkest Hour, since some of the story cause some things in The Rise Of Scourge and Ravenpaw's Path get taken out.
