The more attention the "metal-heads" or "haters of rap" give us, the more it bumps our thread...Which means the more it bumps our thread, the more likely it is to be commented on...The more it's commented on, the more people will see it and be inspired to write a song, causing more ro-rap. So, if you want ro-rap to "end", IGNORE IT. You don't have to leave your smart-ass comments on every damn thread!

a lot of rappers do, though. they create beats and then post the link with the lyrics. some people really DO rap it out. not a lot of people can afford mics, programs to make beats, etc, so their last resort is to at least post the lyrics. |

"linking to a beat" produced by somebody else only gives the reader a vague idea of what the flow's supposed to be, if there even is one, that doesn't magically turn your dirt poems into musical pieces.
it's also an immensely rare practice.
and if people actually rap over it, then you might as well consider it actual rap, as ro-rap and actual rap have literally no distinctions besides the fact that one is actually music and the other isn't.
rapping over "ro-rap" is also an immensely rare practice done only by, what i've counted, two people, and for both people they've done it a single time.
i'm not sure who you're trying to convince when you say "ro-rappers do a lot of xyz!"
beethoven was considered a musician because he wrote and composed music. if beethoven only sparingly added notes to compositions that have already existed, he wouldn't be considered a musician, and we wouldn't know who he is.

Most of whatever I've even put out are usually freestyles that go to instrumentals on youtube
And whenever I'm not doing that, I'm trying to create something on FL Studio Groove or trying to learn FL 11

Just because I and others like me enjoy to rap makes us idiots? So because we don't talk about metal, punk, and post songs, we're hated. If you're trying so hard to sound right and correct, the right response to all of this is let it be. If people like to ro-rap, good for them, it's what makes them happy. If you listen to metal, great! Our opinions shouldn't be shunned because the majority of the MT forum's opinions are "superior". |
