You do not understand, ROBLOX is not just a website that people can come in and just play games, It must be paid for, for all the servers, people, DevEX being used, this all costs money, It costs money to keep all these servers up, to maintain the website in general, and how will they keep it up? With Income, and how are they going to get income? Of course, it has to come from the players who are playing the game, otherwise it would be shut down within a month of it's birth, to get this Income used to keep the site up, and pay interns, and pay for video equipment, AND keeping a roof over there heads, and money in there pocket, they must use this income, what is this income? Of course, this income is money, where will they get this money? From the players that play the game, of course, they need the membership features so players will pay for it and give ROBLOX income, this is also why the ROBLOX Corporation is encouraging buying memberships, with of course, added features that make game-play on ROBLOX more fun, so members will want to buy this, so they will look better, have more things to do, look down on more people, and look good on the website overall, this is why memberships were put on ROBLOX so sudden, during 2006 when players were joining, the money keeping the site up came straight out of there pockets, of course, as more and more players joined, they, having money sapped out of there wallets, were not going to keep it up very long like that, they needed a membership to gain money to run the website, all the servers, updates, blogs, bloxcons, live-streams, etc.
