Power Rankings based on the week 1 performances by each of the 10 teams. FORMAT: Team Name. (Win/Loss Record) (Rankings Movement) |-AFC-| 1. Denver Bronco's. (1-0) (Up 1) Solid play all around, although they only scored 44 points, they were able to upset the heavily favored Oakland Raiders. Great defense that only allowed 37 points against a strong Raiders offense. 2. Oakland Raiders. (0-1) (Down 1) Despite starting the season off 0-1, the Raiders still have one of the most talented rosters in the league. If the team can move on after a heartbreaking loss, the Raiders can easily be a top 3 team in the league. 3. Pittsburgh Steelers. (1-0) (Up 2) Considering WarOnCliff only had a few days to construct the Steelers, this is a great win. The offense and defense played pretty well against the new Bills team that just couldn't get it going until the 4th quarter, but it was already to big of a hole. 4. Buffalo Bills. (0-1) (Down 1) The Bills just couldn't get their offense started against the Steeler's defense. They have a pretty talented roster and devoted players, so if this team can get into a groove, they can be a playoff team. 5. New England Patriots. (0-1) (Down 1) The former AFC Champions are in deep trouble. After former HC DJango got fired by the Executive Board, Xepitus has been named the new HC. If he can get a very talented roster active again, the Patriots can revert to their old, great form. But until then, they'll keep forfeiting games. |-NFC-| 1. Detroit Lions. (1-0) (Ranking Didn't Change) The Detroit Lions almost played a solid game throughout, winning the game 63-60 against the Seattle Seahawks, who played without their starting qb. The Lions nearly lost in a half time collapse, where they only scored 14 points and allowed 46. If the Lions can play a full game, they are one of the top 3 teams in the league. 2. Seattle Seahawks. (0-1) (Ranking Didn't Change) Seattle nearly finished a 2nd half comeback against the detroit lions, but fell short on the last play of the game. If the Seahawk's QB can make it to games, this team can do some serious damage. But for now, they stand at 2 in the conference. 3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. (1-0) (Up 1) Yes, the Buc's did win by Forfeit, but they still have a pretty talented roster. I would have expected this team to beat the patriots even if the pats didn't forfeit. 4. San Fransisco 49ers. (0-1) (Down 1) I was honestly surprised to see the 49ers forfeit after an intriguing offseason. This team might be a playoff contender if they can become active again. 5. Dallas Cowboys. (0-1) (Ranking Didn't Change.) "We are ready for the regular season" Its not a good way to follow up a Head Coaches statement by forfeiting week 1. By far the least talented roster in the league, and I'd b very surprised if this team gets to play atleast 5 games. |-League Rankings-| 1. Detroit Lions 2. Denver Broncos. 3. Oakland Raiders. 4. Seattle Seahawks. 5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 6. Pittsburgh Steelers. 7. Buffalo Bills. 8. New England Patriots. 9. San Fransisco 49ers. 10. Dallas Cowboys.

-1/10 Unbelievably more biased than 98.
