there wouldn't be a case here considering the fact that to use facebook you need to sign terms of service to use the product i know that the play store requires all apps to specifically state which permissions on your phone they have access to, i don't know if apple does the same thing but if they don't that's kind of an issue

Assuming you're on Android, when you sign up for a Google account that contract was it stated inside. If you're on the far superior platform, iOS, then it asks you for access up front :3.

I wouldn't say iOS isn't the superior platform. Android has a lot more functionality/customization and you can do a LOT more with it. I still use an iPhone though because I don't want to have to use SMS rather than iMessage w/ group messages.
