Ok guys, I've got the start of a story.
The way I'll tell the Lore is through a series of static scenes with some subtitles describing the scene. Like a freeze-frame battle scene with text at the bottom. It's cooler than just reading text(although I'll add more details through dialogue and books) and easier than a fully-animated cutscene. Also, credit to LordAbraxas for the general idea of the story, it was really cool and easy to work with.
The story is about a "curse" that spreads across the Kingdom of Glaewin. The cause of the Blight, as it's called, is unknown. The Blight turns living creatures into mutated beasts. Chaos ensued and the world seemed to have come to an end. One king (Name pending) brought his best soldiers in to fight against the Blight. These were called the Guardians. (Name), the White Knight, prayed to the Galuria, goddess of Light, and she granted him the Amulet of light, able to repel the Fog of Blight. (Name), the Black mage, called upon Phaebus, the God of Darkness, and was granted the ------. And (Name), the Ranger, was aided by Koros, the God of Chaos and was granted ------. They led an army against the monsters.

They finally reached the (Hive?) of the Blight. A placed so cursed no human could survive. Swarms of blighted monsters attacked. Outnumbered, the only option was to sacrifice themselves to defeat the Blight.

Once the news of the battle reached the King, the people wanted someone to blame for the Blight. That role fell to Phaebus. (Thought it'd be cool to separate the gods) They destroyed his shrines (leads to some cool environments).
Decades(or centuries) later
Your village is attacked by raiders, but they weren't ordinary thieves. Their minds were gone and they acted like animals. The Blight had resurfaced.
You escape the impending doom of your town and head to Hallowcrest (Yea, I named the town). You then train to defeat the blight.
--This now leads to the main quest, and where the story actually starts
Basic idea, gives a good lore with 3 main gods, 3 guardians.
The rest is sort of foggy.
You try to get the 3 relics that the Guardians had, or fragments of them, and defeat the Blighted monsters and save towns.
When you get a relic, it acts as a way to progess in the game. The basic idea for the Amulet of Light is to be able to enter areas that are blocked off by the Fog of Blight.

Perhaps have a ring for the god of darkness that gives the holder a lower chance of being detected by enemies? and maybe a cape for the god of chaos, that corrupts the mind of the user a bit, and does some dillusional stuff (guis popping up randomly of barely visible, and horrifying pictures.), but it also gives them an attack speed boost? Something on those lines. Just an idea. Hope it can help. |

What about aligning with one of the three gods that you wish to worship and you have three different storylines that go from there? |

I personally like this Lore. It seems to reflect on your RPG genre/Style also.-(Which is a good thing)
Now the only problem would be making it look good. Heh.

I think Boopbot will do fine on this, I have been testing his game every time it is updated, and it is looking amazing so far. Also, I am pretty sure that he already planned out the lore in his head on how things are going to work out, so he probably has a pretty big clue on what he is creating. |

like it but it ##### some better #####, and some better #####,i like the story and the game but it ##### to be #######,i know its a beta,just letting you know as a idea to add into the game,you should be able to buy your own ### dragon,give it a #### ,and once it ####### level 20,you should be able to ride it,every 10 ####. it should learn ### skills like FIRE BREATH,or ICE BREATH,SHADOW KILL,just send me a message and i will describe them to you.I love the game it is so fun,but like i said you should think about what i said about the dragons,its a cool idea.the story and the story line are awesome,i think its a good story and it ####### the game #########. |

I got more of the story figured out, mostly a few more names and the Mage's artifact
Thanks to Byron8888 for the names!
The king is Lord Glandias
The White Knight is named Bendithio (Blessed)
The Black Mage will most likely be secret, but he/she uses the Cloak of Shadows.
And the Ranger is Scath, an elf. I'm not sure about the weapon yet, it could be a bow that can shoot multiple volleys of arrows, or something else, you guys can give some ideas.

It sounds similar to Dragon Age which is a game you can get in origin. Because the blight is also included, mutated monsters yes and the so called 'guardians' would be grey wardens but great lore idea and story... MAKE ME PROUD BOOPBOT! |

Monster Name Ideas:
1) Scavenger (basic warrior)
2) Haunter (has advanced attack)
3) Devastator (a lot of health and really slow)
4) Satan's Eye (has a huge intelligence stat; could also be the name of a staff)
5) Blood Swarm (these come in packs and are very weak, however attack and run very fast)
Boss Name Ideas:
1) Infected Scavenger (this scavenger was attempted to be buffed up by the Satan's Eyes, and their experiment somewhat worked, but it went terribly wrong)
2) Nero (named after a Persian king, and his name sounds cool. He also was thought to have burned down a whole city)
3) Mauling Giant
4) Pluto/Satan (god of the Underworld)
5) "The Pure" (about 10 blood swarms sewn together into one body)
