Personally like auras idea of the (Pure)
Of course I'm also a huge Warhammer 40k fan. The Pure basically reminds me of a abomination from a Warhammer book called Soul Drinkers. A corrupt phker in a forgotten underground prison during a time of war ended up merging himself with the body parts with the prisoners below. Then he sat in the inside of the rotting flesh and organs and was able to control the great blob of decaying filth growing stronger with every body infused with his being :l |

I think the game will be awesome. I played it and got some swords and tried them out from shop. I think the story is cool, also I think the king's name should be Norman. Sounds so popular though. Don't judge my opinion for the name everyone. |

RPG ideas
Dungeons, multiples mini-bosses like(ideas): The Demon Summoner(transform persons into demons and use them like a little army), Three-faced Ogre(can make his body into three separate body, then transform into his orginal form at the end), Blood Devorer(Be careful, he is a monster who can eat right away so dont attack directly, first find his weak spot). Mini-bosses in the dungeons found. |

Seeing as how boopbot is a tolkien fan, if playable races get a history, you can guarantee the orcs' will be filled with incriminating things. |

Here's an idea:
The artifact thingies were shattered/split into countless fragments,and when you find one,you're able to use a small fraction of said artifacts power. It would let every player possess one,without disrupting the story with there only being three of them. |

This comment depends on if this is going to be a vanilla RPG or a RP-RPG...
But the downfall of all good RP games has been people not knowing how to play. If there is some way to make sure everyone knows the rules of RP and such that would be an amazing contribution to the ENTIRE community. This need to be easy to access, however, as apparently noobs don't enjoy reading description. Maybe a GUI or something?
If this is a straight RPG then it is so far great, and I hope to see more out of it. |

Here is some ideas for the blanks in order. Draken the king, LeoNardo the holy knight, Gazzen the black mage was granted the Staff of Summons which allows him to summon Minions, Lizzy the ranger lizzy was granted the Crossbow of holy light they finally reached the heart of the plague, But the plague was too strong for their relics and the relics got destroyed when they were fighting. So they decided to Kill themselves to save the world from the Unknown plague, U should say centuries instead of decades. Ok im done i HOPE u like it! PLZ Message me if u liked it! it would make meh day if u decidded to use something in this. So thats all i have. pm me if u need any other suggestions too. PS i liek the town name :D.

Is Phaebus one of the 3 gods or one of the 3 guardians?
How did these guardians become famous?
Why has your guy not immediately go to the nearest kingdom and tell a king the blight is back?
The scene selection lores are really leaving some holes in it. |

Below is the lore as of the date of this post, it also contains some edits I made to clean up and/or try to improve the story in a way. You don't need to add everything if you decide to use a part. I will leave my edits after words in [] marks. I take out all the parenthesis stuff so it's less confusing of where my suggestions are. I didn't put this in the suggestions forum because it feels like it doesn't belong there, and should just go here.

That role fell to Phaebus[the what? god]. They destroyed his shrines. [in hopes that Phaebus might never return. Before the last shrine fell however, Phaebus told a prophecy that one day the blight would return.]
Decades(or centuries) later [definitely should be centuries if you want those those cool environment, for some overgrown nature]

Ok guys, I've got the start of a story.
The way I'll tell the Lore is through a series of static scenes with some subtitles describing the scene. Like a freeze-frame battle scene with text at the bottom. It's cooler than just reading text(although I'll add more details through dialogue and books) and easier than a fully-animated cutscene. Also, credit to LordAbraxas for the general idea of the story, it was really cool and easy to work with.
The story is about a "curse" that spreads across the Kingdom of Glaewin. The cause of the Blight, as it's called, is unknown. The Blight turns living creatures into mutated beasts. Chaos ensued and the world seemed to have come to an end. One king (Name pending) brought his best soldiers in to fight against the Blight. These were called the Guardians. (Name), the White Knight, prayed to the Galuria, goddess of Light, and she granted him the Amulet of light, able to repel the Fog of Blight. (Name), the Black mage, called upon Phaebus, the God of Darkness, and was granted the ------. And (Name), the Ranger, was aided by Koros, the God of Chaos and was granted ------. They led an army against the monsters.

Basic idea, gives a good lore with 3 main gods, 3 guardians.
The rest is sort of foggy.
You try to get the 3 relics that the Guardians had, or fragments of them, and defeat the Blighted monsters and save towns.
When you get a relic, it acts as a way to progess in the game. The basic idea for the Amulet of Light is to be able to enter areas that are blocked off by the Fog of Blight.
Just wanted to let you guys see the Lore and ask for input.

Perhaps have a ring for the god of darkness that gives the holder a lower chance of being detected by enemies? and maybe a cape for the god of chaos, that corrupts the mind of the user a bit, and does some dillusional stuff (guis popping up randomly of barely visible, and horrifying pictures.), but it also gives them an attack speed boost? Something on those lines. Just an idea. Hope it can help.

I think Boopbot will do fine on this, I have been testing his game every time it is updated, and it is looking amazing so far. Also, I am pretty sure that he already planned out the lore in his head on how things are going to work out, so he probably has a pretty big clue on what he is creating.

I got more of the story figured out, mostly a few more names and the Mage's artifact

The king is Lord Glandias
The White Knight is named Bendithio (Blessed)
The Black Mage will most likely be secret, but he/she uses the Cloak of Shadows.
And the Ranger is Scath, an elf. I'm not sure about the weapon yet, it could be a bow that can shoot multiple volleys of arrows, or something else, you guys can give some ideas.

It sounds similar to Dragon Age which is a game you can get in origin. Because the blight is also included, mutated monsters yes and the so called 'guardians' would be grey wardens but great lore idea and story... MAKE ME PROUD BOOPBOT!

Monster Name Ideas:
1) Scavenger (basic warrior)
2) Haunter (has advanced attack)
3) Devastator (a lot of health and really slow)
4) Satan's Eye (has a huge intelligence stat; could also be the name of a staff)
5) Blood Swarm (these come in packs and are very weak, however attack and run very fast)
Boss Name Ideas:
1) Infected Scavenger (this scavenger was attempted to be buffed up by the Satan's Eyes, and their experiment somewhat worked, but it went terribly wrong)
2) Nero (named after a Persian king, and his name sounds cool. He also was thought to have burned down a whole city)
3) Mauling Giant
4) Pluto/Satan (god of the Underworld)
5) "The Pure" (about 10 blood swarms sewn together into one body)

Seems solid. Needs work obviously, but a solid foundation. I'd suggest giving details on what exactly the blight is.

I see some dark souls lore kind of sneaked in there but retold. I really like that since I am a fan of dark souls, I also hope that this story won't be shoved in your face and you can speculate like in dark souls. |
