I just want friends, having a relationship at school/college just sounds awkward.

Yes I am one of those people, under 18's are too young for relationships.

Me too, OP. Me too. While at the same time, I wonder if friendships are really my thing. I feel bitter and ignored right now, and I think having friends will help me, but I just hope they don't drag me down.

Friends are good, girlfriends on the other hand. I'll probably have one eventually when I don't have to worry about education and stuff.

upbeat, that's not entirely true. In Scotland (which, mind you, is in the UK) you have the OPTION to leave at 16 and if you do you can go to college, but not all 16 year olds do. Some continue on with high school and usually end up going to uni rather than college. op is college pleb confirmed ~~ (ง ͠° ͟ل͜ ͡°)ง Prepare for fisticuffs, portly gentlemen

"I can assure you some of them consider me a friend back also." The fact you had to say that is kind of saddening
