which is basically when 2 senses mix and is usually defined by the association of colors with numbers/letters, but has many other symptoms
apparently not everyone associates color with emotions and assigns colors to people from there, which explains why people always look at me funny when i try to explain it
also apparently i have an extremely vivid imagination, so go me |

OT hates special snowflakes who complain about problems they never had. |

'complain' lol its not a problem its actually significantly helpful with character design which explains how easily i can dish out a new character if the moment calls for it |

Pretty sure synesthesia is just people noticing typical connections our brains make between everyday things and giving it a twisted up definition to make them feel special. |

What superCrazyHuman just said.
If you've got some obfuscating social anxiety where whenever you approach someone to talk to them, you feel your internal organs flip around like beached fish and you feel a surge of adrenaline strong enough to lift a 200 lb block of concrete, you can start complaining and I won't mind. |

This seems like one of those stupid terms like demis3xual that applies to basically everyone, but tumblrtards try to use it to make themselves feel special. |

if you look into it its not that simple, anyone can put a color to a number but its not the same as the immediate thought of that color upon seeing the number and etc
it also applies to tasting sound, hearing colors and so on and so forth
i didnt think i actually had it, just a general sort of association that a lot of people have, but it comes down to thinking of the color every time i think of the same emotion and i quite literally assign colors to the people i meet
it does seem like a definition to make someone feel special, but the chances of just the regular color number/letter association is 1 in 200,000, making other brands of synesthesia even rarer |

My social anxiety in a nutshell
Do you know how mad it makes me to see people say they have social anxiety just because they don't like to do a presentation in front of the class? |

@super
I KNOW THE PAIN. This chick who just me this other chick and talks for hours in front of me, she says that she can't walk into some teacher's classroom while it's another class because she might "get a panic attack because of social anxiety".
I wanted to stand up, march over to her, and burn my gaze into her eyes. She does NOT know the hell that social anxiety is. |

i'm so complicated people can't understand me ya know? i like books, i like to read books because i don't wanna be like the other girls
...And that's how we won World Flamewar 3 |

NOT AT ALL
Nor a panic attack, which I'm sure is just a feeling of embarrassment for her.

Moris
theres a girl like that in my govt class, instead her parents are rich lawyer people and they got their hands on a doctors note for her so she doesnt have to do presentations and etc etc
meanwhile she takes acting, musical theatre, and thespian, and during class she actually talks more than anyone else when a group discussion comes up
but under the guise of social anxiety she can get away with anything, apparently
James
i actually talked with both my science teacher and doctor about it, and after taking a test these were the results |

I see auras when I get migraines.
That's a completely different aura though, these kinds are essentially "blind spots". You know something's there but your eyes won't perceive anything but the color |

Someone kill me now. That child has no hope. The universe is unbalanced because that brat gets the luxuries of faking her way out mildly uncomfortable situations. |
