In my group base the melee weapons wont swing/attack

Are the melee weapons scripted to attack? Get default Linked Swords, and see if those work.

Open ROBLOX studio, and insert your tools. First of all, open the scripts, and check if there is no errors. If you don't know anything about scripting, try to add a linked sword to your game. Toolbox > Roblox sets > Tools, i think.
