here the series goes:
-EASE MY PAIN-
Your the only one who can ease the pain.
THE ONLY ONE to keep me from GOING INSANE.
The only one to make the lion tame.
Because of you I'll never be the same.
I did everything so wrong.
Running from my sin oh so long.
Trying to fight my fear so strong.
Trying to fake a life.
Hiding away the bloody knife.
You are the only one who can take it away!
The only one who will always stay.
The only one night and day!
YOU ARE THE ONLY WAY!
Because you ease the pain so fast.
The evil torture is not gonna last.
All the torturous days are past.
You ease the pain.

A bloody crown of thorns upon your head.
It's probably better to just be dead.
They nailed you to the cross.
...But your death was not a loss.
...Because my sin went down when you died.
My wrongs were erased when you cried.
The blood dripped down.
Falling to the ground.
In that sea of blood my sin did drown.
The next day you were rested in a cave.
This place was your rocky grave.
On the third day the door of stone was rolled away.
For your resurection was on that day.
When you rose, our sin rose too.
Lifted from your shoulders.
Forever made new!
Praise the Lord our Savior!
It's all we can do!
The cross is where my salvation begins.
The cross is where my condemnation ends!

read all of those previous ones please... they are brand new... but i've been on fire with new ideas so here is the new series which continues where the first series of all, "dark times" and my first poem "the dark one" left off. it's time for "The Reign Of The Dark One"!!!!!!!
-=[The Reign of The Dark One]=-
-=Verse 1=-
The Dark One ventures off into the night.
Filling the hearts of the fallen with so much fright.
He is the one who causes our cries.
He just smiles as his enemy dies.
Can we live in fear?
Can we just wipe away the tear?
Can we just ignore what we hear?
The rustling in the dark.
The only light I have is a spark.
He bangs at the windows, shattering the glass.
Is this night ever gonna pass?
I can hear his footsteps in the grass.
Be my rescue from the monster.
Be my savior from the hunter.
I can't take this any longer.
... But I know your so much stronger.

I need to be freed from this murky cell.
... But I've been bound up so, so well.
I'm in a fiery jail.
The wind blows against The Dark One's cape.
I need to somehow escape.
I am in chains and I hear the claws scrape.
His eyes ignite with rage.
He should have never been let out of his cage.
... And now what has it come to?
My deception tells me the problem is you.
What is their left to do?
So I give you all I got.
Which, sadly is not a lot.
The Dark One fills my heart with rot.
... But this battle must be fought.
I am gonna use all I was ever thought.
I tell you my soul will never be bought...
Except by you my lord.
Who defends me from the monstrous hourde.

The floor shakes beneath my feet.
This absurdity... this evil, I must defeat.
... But my soul is infected with deceit.
Lord please help me stand my ground.
Help me find what's hard to be found.
Save me before the day I drown.
This is the reign of The Dark One!
A battle, that i feel, cannot be won!
Alas, a new age has begun.
Now look at what we've become.

Who is this Dark One I speak of?
...You may ask...
His identity is hidden under mask.
Is he real, or is he fake?
Waiting for the answer...
Is something I can't take!
He is the wall between dreams and reality.
He is real when you say his name.
After you see him you'll never be the same.
To defeat him you must play his game!
I look into his eyes everytime i look in the mirror.
I wipe my eyes to see the vision clearer.
I try to stare on deeper.
Who is he?
Is he me?
Can it be?
I can't escape him is all I gotta say.
There's gotta be a way to get away!
Is he a demon on my shoulder?
Is he the one who makes the night colder?
Or is it just me turned inside out?
Am I losing sight in the drought?
I'm starting to have doubt.
So tell me the identity of The Dark One!
Is he the product of what I've done?
Is he the monster I've become?
Is the near future going to be glum?
I was the dark one...
But now I'm not!
Because by you I've been sought.
It's by your blood that I've been bought.

Every single boring chore.

This world's so pleasant.

Im fading every single day.
I must escape some way.
I've been living in the present not the future.

I lay here in the mud eating with the pigs.
I am eating dirt and twigs.
Just a drop of clean water please.
Just a little to put my heart at ease.
I try to breathe, but I wheeze.
I'm dying from disease.
Forgive me oh father.

I'm falling at your doorstep waiting for you.
I have nothing left to do.

You took me in.
Even after all my great sin.

People all around me.
Trying to find a person to look up to.
They pick me.
So what am I gonna do?
I don't want to let them down.

I need to set an example.
... But it's hard.
All my mistakes might leave them scarred.

It's worth it anyway.

The forces of evil rise from the mist.
Blood drips from the dark one's wrist.
He's holding their souls inside his clenched fist.
Their eyes shine eerily bright.
The Army Of The Night.
Their shadows cause me so much fright.
They scream their screams of pain.
They are marching on in the rain.
All of these years of torture have driven them insane.
They gave in to the dark one.
So a new age has begun.
For the grey clouds have hidden the sun.
I wipe the blood from my brow.
I feel The Dark One's staring at me right now.
I must escape this somehow.
The Army Of The Night has just given in.
They've been invaded by their own sin.
I will see, that to me, this shall never happen.
