Ebola is only caught through bodily fluids or touching one infected so stop worrying Ebola is just another thing like swine flu. Don't bother building that extra safe apocalypse den because I bet you won't get Ebola.

>Ebola is only caught through bodily fluids or touching one infected so stop worrying Ebola is just another thing like swine flu. Don't bother building that extra safe apocalypse den because I bet you won't get Ebola. The guy you know who spits a lot when he talks, he could become infected, not realize it, and spread it to hundreds. Have you seriously never seen any disease-type apocalypse movie? It can be odd circumstances, but it can happen. I'm not worried, personally. However, anyone in that part of Texas could be and should be. That nurse, they have no idea how she got infected. Things happen.

You just don't go near Ebola patients, or anyone suspected to have it. Why can't people do that? Until the vaccine is ready, just keep the Ebola patients by themselves with what they need to live.

"I think ebola surpasses all of those reasons to leave." No. I live in a city with ebola and I'm not moving.

>No. I live in a city with ebola and I'm not moving. It's not a requirement to move. However, it could be used as a good motivation to move.

"good motivation" THAT WOULD BE GIVING THE EBOLA THE POWER. YOU DON'T GIVE EBOLA THE POWER.

"Have you seriously never seen any disease-type apocalypse movie?" All of your credibility has left the building. But seriously, Ebola is horrible, but the current outbreak is minor. Without proper prevention techniques, however, it will get much worse. Currently, we are being very stupid about containment and prevention.

You people are all overreacting about ebola. The media is making a big deal once again. This disease is super minor and it is like a 0.1 % chance that it will affect us come on guys ebola isn't important.

Of course the media is making a big deal of it, but it's still a serious issue. It can be spread pretty easily if it is not closely monitored, and right now, we're letting it pass right under the radar. At least be informed; you're no better than the media outlets you criticize.
