it depends on the severity but i would say tsunamis are more often than not way more harmful to coastal regions than tornadoes are to midwestern regions Iᴛ ᴀɪɴᴛ ᴇᴀsʏ, ʙᴇɪɴɢ Cʜᴇᴇsᴇʏ.

California gets so many forest fires, especially in the summer. Last year Mt Diablo had a fire near it's peak. It looked like Mordor and it took them 3 days to contain it. I went hiking up to the peak one day last December and saw burnt down trees all around the road. What's scary is that it was scary close to the peak. Where there is a military museum and light tower.

What gets me about forest fires is that there's no possible way to outrun it I read the only way you can survive a forest fire if you're in the forest is to find a clearing and create a "fire line" once you've cleared all the flammables, and get down and cover your face with your shirt to safeguard from all the smoke and duck down and let the fire pass over you

>NATURAL disaster >forest fire More like STUPID PERSON BEING REALLY STUPID disaster. I know the feeling for the forest fires though, it's a MASSIVE problem up here in BC. ᗩᘉᓰᗰᗩ☂ᕮↁᗪᗩᘉᘉϒ〇

Except that Canada doesn't have droughts like California and the ones in California actually start naturally from spontaneous combustion once it gets extremely dry it is a NATURAL disaster

Not to mention lightning strikes spark forest fires. Not all forest fires are caused by humans.

I realise that most of them are not humans down there, but I'm referring to BC where the majority of them are human caused. Maybe everyone in the BC Interior are just ignorant when it comes to forest fires, since that's where they seem to be happening most. ᗩᘉᓰᗰᗩ☂ᕮↁᗪᗩᘉᘉϒ〇

We have droughts in Houston every year for months We just take water from other states and regulate the use of it Texas is actually going to run out of water pretty soon We have a lot of forests but the droughts don't dry up the land because of the most climate coming from the Gulf Coast
