After World War 2, Earth was mostly at peace, but the peace wouldn't last for long. It is now 2050, and most nations, mainly the developed countries, have warp speed technology. This lead to the Second Great Space Race and many nations began to explore and colonize space. With countries fighting over galactic colonies and planets, a new struggle for dominance is unleashed on Earth.

Revolt- This is when a space colony breaks away from their host country, and will stay like this until you put them down, or recognize their independence.
Secede- A peaceful act, that means that they separate from their host country with permission.

New alien races may be discovered, but finding a advanced race of aliens is extremely hard and restricted to late game.

THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
EDUCATION
Education standards of grade and middle schools are raised, specifically in science and space, to give children a better view of space. Grants are given out to scientists, engineers, and college students majoring in space.
MILITARY
We pull all forces from the world stationed in allied bases back to America. We offer an alliance to Siberia to help defend it from Russia, our enemy.
ECONOMY
We create a new trade union where there are no leaders, however everyone is an equal part and they defend each other from economic hard times. We invite France and England into the union.
RESEARCH
We decrease military funding and increase funding in NASA and other space agencies. We begin working on a reliable shuttle to get from Earth to the Moon in efficient time. Scientists estimate that they could devolve a shuttle that could travel the distance in only 6 hours, given time. |

THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
EDUCATION
A space test is given to 6th graders, 9th graders, and 12th graders. It is about space, to get a idea of what they know. It will be annual from now on.
MILITARY
Drones are being mass-produced, while military vehicles like tanks and APC's are not being produced.
ECONOMY
Oil Rigs are being constructed in Alaska and Texas mainly to provide more independence from other countries for oil. Farms are also being constructed to provide more independence from importing food. Mostly corn and wheat farms.
RESEARCH
The research continues on a shuttle, and a new expedition to the moon is launched to scout the surface in more detail. 15 people are going to the moon including 3 vehicles. They will stay there for one week and will live in their shuttle during their trip. It will take a day to get there and they are being launched immediately. |
