If you haven't noticed yet, there are many development groups out there who work together as a team on projects. One of the down-sides to ROBLOX is that it doesn't quite technologically support this concept. This is why I highly suggest the following ideas:
1. Ability to share profit made off of the projects. This is a feature I have always wanted. At the moment, all the profit earned from a place goes toward the account that is hosting it and the only way to share it with someone else, who was part of the development, is to buy an item from that person. The problem here is that not only this method requires the other player to have BC membership, they also recieve only 70 percent of the money that the item was bought for (which I believe is an un-efficient way of sharing profit).
That is why, a little while ago I came up with an idea that can solve this problem. The idea is that the owner of the place can add players on a list of developers and set the percentage that they own of the total profit. Then, every time profit is made from the game, a percent of the profit is sen directly to each player on the list (depending on whatever their percentage was set to). I believe this is a fair system that would work greatly and efficiently.
2. Multiplayer Studio. Now, I know the ROBLOX staff already have looked into this but I want to re-state this again. There should be a feature that would allow for multiple players to connect their studios to a certain place and be able to work together. Now, I know there are certain ways around this like making a personal server (which requires BC membership) or using a plugin (which have many glitches and are expected to not work at all), but those ways are pretty un-efficient since you don't quite have access to all of the studio's tools.
I believe that these features will bring more success to development groups and I hope that the ROBLOX staff implement them pretty soon. Support if you agree.

Support. It's entirely possibly too, they just need to put some effort into it.
The only issue I see is being the host of the game gets to choose whatever percentage the other creators get. I can see that being abused. |

I ran into this problem with my friend and I,
We simply made an alt account and we both use it for the same project. It's the closest solution I found, even though you can't physically see what the other player has built, you can see the version history and physical progress.
Dump a bump. |

@CjGame, what do you mean by abused? Do you mean the host not setting fair percentages? If so then that doesn't matter because it really depends on how much you trust the host. If you don't trust them, what's the point of even working with them?
After all they can still do the same thing with the current way that people use to transfer money (by not buying whatever item you created for them to buy). |

@Sydblue, well that's one way you can work together, however that doesn't solve the money problem and it's highly inefficient because you can't be working on the place at the same time because your updates will interfere with your partner's. |

If you are making games for the R$ and nothing else, then yes the first idea will be beneficial. If you are doing it so you can exchange R$ to $, then there are easy way around this.
As for the second idea, having multiple players in one place while in studio mode would probably not even be the best way to design on work on your game. Me and my development group use Google Drive to work on our games.
I don't think these features would be a good use of time for the ROBLOX staff. |

@SPRITnU
Yes maybe you are kind of right, however, what if the a developer wants to use the RS for his own reasons? It'd be better to have the percentage feature because then each person can do what they want with their money. Also, sending real money to other people takes a while (and even longer if the developer lives in another country that has another currency). And in the end, this feature wouldn't take too long for the ROBLOX staff to implement so I think it's worth doing so.
Also thanks for giving me the idea of using Google drive. I've never really thought of that for some reason. :/ |

theres a plugin for this |
|

Maybe you could also implement a feature where you and a group of people can create a place shared by each of the group members?
For example, you, joe, bob, and marley want to make a game together
You create a game that you specifically set as a "Team Game" under settings.
You can then enter joe, bob, and marley's names in there
Now when those people go to that game, they have the option to edit and build the game.
It can also work like Google Docs where joe can watch what bob is building as they are both in edit mode.
This may be complicated to add, but it can work easier than Multiplayer Studio, and it is easy to connect with friends. |

@Jman1399,
Did you not read this part?
"...using a plugin (which have many glitches and are expected to not work at all)"
Personally, multiplier studio plugins for me do not work at all. I tried them many times. |

Also for the percentage part there will be a small issue because every time a player joins the game you only earn 1 Tix. To make it fair it would have to have like much more players to join the game before it pays all the developers. For example you and a friend made it like 90% you and your friend 10% or whatever. You can't really cut 1 Tix into 9/10 or 1/10 so ROblox would just have to wait on the Tix per visit and make it that every 10 visits it pays. Anyone get what I'm saying? |

@spycheeto
Yea that's an issue, however, one way around it would be to split the money every x amount of time and if the result of the percentage is a decimal they can just round down to the nearest whole number. |

Hmm...
Well, you could either make it so each member earns 1 ticket
Or
The original owner gets all of the tickets, but the team earns a share of each Dev. Product sold, since a majority of the money made off of games comes from the developer products and/or VIP passes.
Also, these are easier to split up other than 1 ticket |

So yeah I script and my co Dev is building the map and we have discussed using pay pal which involves trust but I trust him. |

@Redinosuar,
Yea maybe giving 1 TIX to each developer is a better idea. Plus TIX isn't even worth much so it won't be a big deal. However people can abuse that by adding lots of their accounts as developers and every time someone visits their place, they get all those tickets and they can just send them back to the main account. |
