"... You know, just last night by the Liberty Square two guys tried to jump me. Third time this week! This bandit problem is getting out of hand. Joe, what is your opinion on this?" Says a guy who seems like a host. Sounds like an interview to you.
"Well, actually, I recently called up the local FBI operators, they say they're on it, but I really doubt that. All I think they're actually doing is selling off the last of their guns and putting bullets in innocent people's heads. It's the government not doing anything about this that's the real problem." You hear the 'Joe' guy say.
"You got that right. Now we're onto the traffic report," The host guy says, pausing to take a breath. "In the Northwest region of the city people have reported being robbed at gunpoint by a new bandit group that goes by no name. Just under that is the Western area the minutemen have been fighting for land with the Salt Rebels, another bandit group. Now on the other side of the city, we have been told there is an ongoing battle with ex-SWAT and some sort of anonymous militants. Witnesses reported gunfire, explosions, and flames coming from the area."

I decide that it's been long enough without a report from Michael.
"Lads, arm up - light mind you- and let's roll out. Michael's probably fast asleep."
I go to the selection of arms and peruse available weapons. |

You notice Michael tidying up the cargo bed in the ural. You go to the weapons boxes to find a suitable replacement for your FS2000. In the long guns bin is:
- CZ 550 (.308 model)
- Colt AR-15
- Magpul AR-15
- SG553 (C79 Scope) (Semi)
- Steyr AUGA3 (Kobra) (Semi)
- Negev Commando
And for some reason you find an M9 bayonet in there too.

I decide to replace my gun with the SG553 - and ask Michael to jury rig/fit the bayonet onto it.
Then I wait for word from Sean. |

"Yeah, I knew that."
I quickly look for a melee weapon - any will do - with a blunt force trauma weapon being my weapon of choice. While doing this I get my tobacco pouch out and roll a slim. |

You already have a good knife - the bayonet, but you take a hammer too. You cannot seem to locate your tobacco pouch though.
You hear loud shots, .30 caliber at least. It's probably Sean, you think. |

"Round up boys. We're going to check it out. Sean knows to take out the dead quietly."
I go into a slow jog towards the general area of the gunshot, beckoning the others to come. Almost as an afterthought I tack on "And one of you took my baccy, ain't ya?"

They both say no, just as they finish loading and starting up the Ural. "You gonna walk, or do you think we could use the truck?"

You exit the camp, in the concrete jungle once called civilization. Just down the road you see a man, firing a handgun at the third floor of a building, which you can clearly see Sean's scout's barrel poking out of a window. Next to that man lies two corpses, and inside the building behind him seem to be more people.

Creep up as close as possible, ordering the lads with hand signals to approach from slightly different angles, and using anything like cars or doorways to avoid immediate detection. |

Your buddies both go on opposing sides of the road, one goes up onto the second floor of a building for more sniper support while the other crouches behind a gas tanker. You have a clear shot at the attacker.

I pop my head slightly over cover for a brief period of time (inviting death ik ik ik lol) in order to gauge the battlefield and size up the opposing group - checking their arms capability and the nature of the hidden units. |

The two hidden units inside the building both have wooden stock rifles. They both look somewhat old, but they look terrified that one of their friends has decided to kill someone. Sean takes the shot and kills his attacker.

I give the hand signals for Michael to sneak closer to the building - out of the line of fire and for Jeff to stay as overwatch. I ditch my weapon and raise my hands above my head while shouting "HEY", over and over to catch their attention.
I slowly walk towards them while watching for any sudden movements or inclination to shoot me. |

They look towards you, then they freeze dead in their tracks. They don't reach for their rifles or anything, and you can see Sean in the corner of your eyes scaling down the building's stairs.

"Listen, you're surrounded. Drop your weapons and come out and we can work this little misunderstanding out. Any sudden movements and you're dead."
I lower my hands slowly and wait - trying to project the calmest outward appearance as possible. |
