You changed the old classic chatbar, for no reason. Now you have done it again, you switched an object in ROBLOX that users were used to. Are you thinking this update was good? You're replacing an object that already exists (filling a cup thats already full). You're making the coffee in the cup flow all over the place. Consider this message as a lesson. But seriously, why do this when you already have a working chat, wich one you could just updated to have /w or /t or more. New updates from you are NEVER, EVER, perfect. Your "help" table is no help at all. The /w system is terrible, maybe I wanna talk to all, but it just keeps whispering, I'd prefer the old classic way of using /w player message, not some /w player (full name), and then i type in the message. It fails too much.
This was an unneccessary update, because we had a perfectly fine working chat system. Your update made this all just terrible. IGN would not even appreciate this. And the attempt to make chatbar more comfortable is just terrible. I liked when the text was forced to the left of my screen, and the text was larger. DO NOT THINK ABOUT MOBILES ALL THE TIME, FOR GODS SAKE! An 1024x1280 is not a mobile/tablet, okay?
We have a group hangout in Skype (we use RBX.Lua to do stuff in script builders), and they all complained about this new update. Please revert this or something, I cannot look at this hideous new feature.
And for the people who said this was a new good feature, think about the people who were so USED to the old/older chatbar, seriously. I see so many kids say words like "noob" or even worse words say, you people are just filthy pieces of flesh because you do not know how others feel about this, as long the person doesn't care about you either, it's fine. |

Also, here's an another example of what you just did. Let's say you all drink coffee by a known supplier, and it tastes good, right? But now apparently the supplier changes it's product or the supplier changes to an another supplier, it tastes terrible, no one would like it because you liked the old coffee a lot better.
A lot of games also have the fault of replacing/filling something thats already done. |

Yup i hate it. Then my whole chat box just died i didn't see any chats even thought people was chatting i didn't see anything in the chat box just everything blank blank blank. xD |

They won't ever fix this. I know because they've done things like this before and even when 2,000 people sign a petition it is never reverted. Sorry, but Roblox doesn't care about the community's opinion. |

The new chat system broke a few games in my opinion such as A dinosaur's life because when you try to say /fix to fix yourself, it denies / chats |

And don't forget, new update has increased lag in most games. Wasted 1.2k on Mad Murderer after this updated was installed. |

To all these complaints:
This new update is terrible due to the fact it broke some games that use / as the prefix. And the 2nd thing is that replacing the chat was unneccessary when you already had a working one.
Just post a tl;dr next time if you don't bother reading the whole thread, seriously. The community is too lazy to even read like 15 lines of text. |

Obviously you are not from 2009 or anything. And you are the stupid one here, how much good updates has been there in ROBLOX? There has been more bad updates, because ROBLOX replaces all functional objects of the game to a new buggy non-functional object. |

Obviously we all know what 2009 looked like. It looked pretty bad. The playerlist bothered me the most. But how much ROBLOX has changed, and now it looks way better than 2009. Some users like the new chat feature and some users don't. I think the chat in the upper left hand corner is way too small, but I can deal with it. How about you stop whining and deal with the problem because they probably won't change it. Sometimes we just have to deal with it. If ROBLOX doesn't care about what the community suggests, that's their problem and I highly doubt that's what they do. To me it seems like they want ROBLOX to look "newer" and more appealing. |
