I simply nodded back and continued my conversation, as did everyone else in the cafe.
"We better get some good footage for a the money it's costing me! Took me almost ten thousand dollars to get the Jeep storm-ready. Let alone to get all my equipment storm-ready." |

Shay marched up to the counter, tired of being tired. She got her a coffee, knowing the stomach aches would hurt like hell. She gulped down the coffee, instantly getting hit with a stomach ache. "Agh..." she said holding her stomach. "I hate my metabolism..." she mumbled, then relaxed in her chair trying to get in the most comfortable position possible to decrease the stomach aches. She brushed her bangs out of her eyes to look around the place. "Hmph, simple," she mumbled. |

I then caught Shay at the corner of my eye as she was turning to look back at the upset girl. Blonde. I always had a thing for blondes. But a blonde with brown eyes? Oh my... I then decide to make the first move. I walk to her table and say-

"I don't suppose we've met. Hi."
I stick my hand out.
"I'm Tremio, but everyone calls me Trent. And you are?"

Tony, getting comfy in a chair, had decided he'd try to get some sleep before the day actually began. He tilted his cap so it covered his face. Soon enough he was fast asleep with his coffee in his hand. |

"Oh hello," Shay said kindly, "I'm Shayleznia, but you can call me Shaylee or Shay." Shay shook his hand.

"Ah yes. I'm assuming you want footage aswell?" Shay pulled out her super expensive camera out of the camera bag. |

"You betcha! Some of my equipment is in my Jeep, if you want to check it out." |

"I'd love to see actual equipment, I can't afford it" |

"Alright then."
We walk outside to my Jeep, and I grab my camera to show to Shay.
"Now this cost $800 dollars. It's the latest model, with all the newest features. Like it?" |

"Wow. You must have lots of money. I can't afford anything like this...." Shay stared at the camera. |

Eloise shuts her laptop down and puts it back in her leather Laptop-holder. She put on her navy-blue jacket and her eyes slowly turned a bit blue-grey. It always happened, depending on what she wears and her mood. She pushed up her glasses and walked outside. She saw the people who were staring at her, she felt embarrassed.
She walked over to her white Van with RAD sprayed-painted in pink on the side. She slid open the door, and closed it behind her. You could could catch a glimpse of inside, she had wired up computers and monitors and keyboards and some empty soda cans lay on the carpet flooring. |

She started her work and then slammed on the keyboard. "The storm is now coming a week early? Impossible!" She cursed in her language, which is Icelandic. She cooled down and began her work again. She started viewing the forecast again. Symptoms of the storm coming, rain, hail, thunder and lightning. "I better get that camera repaired. On second thought, where is it?" She began searching under the seats of the open, yet cluttered Van. "Here it is. Oh, it's been sitting in rice?" She tried turning it on, and it powered on and a white screen flashes and then you could see through the lenses. She pressed record and set the camera down on one of her small tables. She made one spot look cleaned and pushed up her glasses.
"Maria is coming a week early, so we'll be seeing rain, hail, thunder and lightning a week early." She began showing footage of the storm making it's way from south. "It's now near the range of Cuba and Jamaica. It formed in South America, and is making it's way into the United States. We'll need some sandbags to keep the streets from flooding." She went on about the symptoms and the miles the storm is going at. "Professor Van'Tracey, out." She turned off the camera and made a deep sigh. |

She took off her glasses and contacts, her eyes where a mixture of grey and light brown with a dark chocolate ring around her eyes. She began to mutter something and opened the door and shut it tightly. Her fingers started testing out buttons, it's been awhile since she's felt the camera or used it. |

"Yeah, I've had a successful career in this kind of stuff. I'm not exactly rich, the government actually pays for my missions. I bought all my cameras a long time ago, but additional stuff was funded from the government. I'm just lucky they haven't fired me."
My phone vibrates and I check it. I get a text from my associate. He says to turn on the weather channel RIGHT NOW. I look at Shay, and then show her the text.
"What do you think this is? Good or bad news?" |
