I duck face for the picture, and laugh with Shay.
"Okay. That was pretty funny. Now come on. The stuff should be up here."
I crutch over to the hardware aisle and look for it.
"Hexpod...hexpod... Ah. There we are."
The hexpod was a camera tripod that could drill a hold in the push of a button, and lock itself in the ground. Very useful.
"Grab the hexpod." |

"Oh, I forgot my coat." I say, opening the door. "Gotta go back to Starbucks."
I drive down Pepper Street, and then turn over the bridge. I drive though the seaport and into the city. I go down 56'th and main, then go right around the corner. There's Starbucks. I go in, but find my boss at the counter. "Ah! Good your here. I have to tell you something." I say, "Boss? What are you doing here?" "I need you to stay overnight. Don't ask why." Ok then, I'm staying here.

I grab the hexpod.
(It would be really cute if like, right before we left the parkinglot I said "I'm putting that pic on Facebook" and you'd be like "don't you dare" and you try to take my phone away from me, but I jump into the backseat and you jump after me and took my phone from me, but I had already posted the pic and you read the post and it says somethin rly cute.) |

We crutch over to the counter. The cashier scanned it.
"Two hundred thirteen dollars, sixty-nine cents."
I hand him the money.
"What are you? Rich or somethin'?"
"Well, when the government funds you to work, you get a big paycheck."
"Watch your mouth smart Alec."
He puts the money in the register and puts the box on the counter.
"Better hurry home you two. Big lightning storm heading through in a couple hours.'
"Thanks. Safe travels."
I signal Shay to grab the hexpod, and we leave to the Jeep.
"Set it in back."

I put the hexpod in the backseat, then sit in the passenger seat.
I stare at the picture on my phone, grin, and say, "I'm keeping this picture forever." |

"Sweet."
I pull out Shay's picture from the cafe she showed me.
"And I can save this one." |

I grin at Trent. If there ever was an occasion where we would have to split for a long time, we'd remember eachother. Well, atleast I would remember him. |

This picture I didn't steal. I put in my wallet to remember her. Well, yeah I stole it. But she didn't seem to mind.
"Alright. Let's hit it."
We drive off. After about an a hour, the rain picked up. So did the wind a little. I look to Shay.
"You okay?" |

"Yea, I'm fine." That was a lie. I was afraid we might get hurt in the storm, or even worse, die. |

"Okay."
The radio then plays Kids with Guns.
"Ah sweet. Gorillaz. 'Kids with guns. Kids with guns. They're takin' over...hm hm hm hm hm..."
I continue to hum the song. |

His humming soothes me and I stare out the car window calmly. |

When we get back to the house, the storm was going bananas. I parked the Jeep in the garage.
"Good thing we got home." |

I get into my storm chasing truck and take photos of the storm in the distance. |

(Okay then, fine.)
I look outside. The wind is banging on the windows and the rain makes it hard to see. "God, what happened?" I mutter under my breath. |
