With the help of moi sister(you may have seen her around once or twice...) we're making a full-blown Town of Salem story.
We need names and stuff. We got a role list sorted out, and have got a little bit of the story planned, but we want to ask you peeps for names.
We have 4 names down for ourselves, and need 11 more. Names don't have to be real-life-ish names, just good game names.
In the daytime, people's names will be used, as they chat and lynch people. In the nighttime, their roles will be used, as they secretly carry out actions. Everyone who submits an accepted name will be PMed the role of that character. It's your choice whether or not to tell everyone else. And yes, if you submit multiple names that are accepted, you'll be PMed ALL their roles.
Also, for enhancing the story, we want some personality traits. Not full-blown personalities, but thing such as "acts on information as soon as they get it", which means the character will discuss or act upon information as soon as they know it.
Okay, that's that. In summary: Give us good names for characters and some personality traits for enhancing the story and adding some flavor to the characters. If a character is accepted, when we're ready you'll get a PM with the role(s) of your accepted character(s). |

I give this advice to everyone who posts these sorts of things here.
If you're writing a story of any kind. Develop your own characters. Characters designed by others and thrust into your stories tend to feel more robotic. You need to spend time getting to know your character and how they are as it's really hard to naturally write with pre designed characters.
This is why most fan fics aren't all that great, as the characters are either cookie cutter copies with no new twists involved or are commpletely unlike the original characters at all. My advice to you is to base your characters off of what is provided to you here, instead of just asking for people to draft characters for you.
It takes longer yes, but you end up with a story that feels more alive and familiar to you. |

Logan Arling\\A practical individual, this man often tries to be the voice of reason, where logic has previously failed. A trusted confidante he has a strong value system. However, he struggles to follow through on promises his makes.
Charity Cawthorn\\A blunt woman, she's prone to causing intensity among the crowd with her careless cracks. Care-free and jovial, she fails to live up to the mistakes she has caused in the past.
Lucas Grist\\A sharp mind, Lucas is tactical and observant. However, his insecurities cause him to be the quiet voice on the crowd, likely to never be heard. While he follows a strong moral code on what's right and wrong, it is unlikely for him to step up and bluntly accuse an suspicious individual. |

Diana Darling is a somewhat flirtatious, forceful woman who tends to be overtly inappropriate with her actions and words. She's the opposite of darling, as Diana is rather aggressive as well, tending to force her claims and findings with a loud, deafening voice. Diana is also rather bloodthirsty, and tends to cheer on when someone is about to get lynched, other than herself. Needless to say, she can also be rather emotional as well, though mostly expresses her feelings of anger, rather than happiness or sadness for anyone.
