Windows 8 isn't inherently "bad". It depends on your preferences. |

windows 8 is good you should get it
only reason people complain about it is of the start menu [2]
and if you don't like the new taskbar, start8 exists (it recreates the windows 7 taskbar)
it is much faster, much cleaner, has much more support, etc.

peanut, at least post the model number and name of the computer you're looking forward to getting so i can see if it's good or not
it depends on the specs, not on the brand name or operating system (you can get any operating system if you like, you just need to install it)

You can buy a laptop, and if it has Windows 8 then you can purchase a copy of Windows 7 and install it to your computer. |

honestly i wouldn't really prefer even buying a pre-built pc
if you have the brains, build your own, as it is actually very easy, fun, and you save a lot more money in doing so
