I agree its unneeded.
Its left over from when it was first introduced. Back in 2010 it was different.
OBC was still not completely on the BC page, and it was hidden.
In 2010, Only a monthly membership was available, and only a couple people I knew had a membership(I believe brickbuilder74 was one of them.)
But since we now have OBC everywhere, its not so special anymore.
I agree that the "You are viewing the profile of an OBC member" should be removed.
