Darius woke to the rain, dripping on his tail and soaking his fur. He pulled it into his little cardboard box, just barely fitting in. He groaned in annoyance, and tried to fall back asleep.

Cory awoke to the rain, hissing as it slowly dropped on his fur, then grew ever faster. He jumped up into the hole in a large dumpster, to find an apple core, and a dead mouse. "Mmmm... Delicious." He thought to himself, licking his chops.
