NOT WNTS Just allow them to, please, cause i hate walking around seeing white faces with bacon hair. Do this as a window in the signup page displaying the two templates. An alternative would be to give them a FULL tutorial of the character page and acknowledge that a lot of pros wear 1.0. Maybe we will see more people who actually look HUMAN!
