6:30 am, I woke up to a burning sensation in my right arm, so I turned the light on to find a freaking black widow biting me. IN. MY. GOD DAMNED. BED. Now I'm gonna be sick for a while... my arm feels like it's being pinched by a pair of pliers. This sucks..

Black widows aren't as deadly as people think they are, they only have a 1% mortality rate, which usually only occurs in young children and the elderly. Luckily, I'm a healthy yiung adult, so I think I'll be fine.

all you should do is clean the wound hourly, 1-2 hours, apply disinfectant as well, then replace it with bandages if you're wearing some, if it begins to severly sting, swell, etc go to the ER kk but rip anyways shinjirarenai booty ( ‾ʖ̫‾)

That's probably a good idea... it still burns like hell from when it happened two hours ago.

Thanks for the advice, guys. Day 2, and the bite barely even hurts now, as it turns out I'm one of the many people who barely experience any issues with being bitten, luckily. It just feels like a bee sting, now. I have read that black widows can bite without using any venom, which could have been what happened, but I felt a burning sensation running through my arm when I got bit. Now, I have never experienced a spider bite until now, so I don't know if the burning feeling was the effect of its venom or not. Official Chef of OT

"Blackk widows are deadly." They aren't that deadly. Brown Recluses are pretty much the only one that you should go to the urgent care for. Wow, how did it even get in your house? We had one in between the window and the window screen once.

"OP is now spidermans" yaaay! "Brown Recluses are pretty much the only one that you should go to the urgent care for." Definitely. Luckily Brown Recluses are uncommon here in Florida. Black Widows are becoming fiercely common in my neighborhood, they're becoming as common as House Spiders now. Official Chef of OT

They are pretty common in NC. I have seen them a couple of times, don't hunt for them. I only know of three people to have got bitten, and one of them was in the urgent care when I was waiting to see my doctor so he doesn't really count.
