Cant join roblox games! (not an update issue)

so, im on my mac osx, and at home roblox works perfect, I am going out for the whole day in like an office so im rly bored, but it comes up with ID=17 (loss connection etc, etc, etc) and I have tested the ping, the internet is here is faster then at home, any ideas what might cause this?

I can help, apparently. Probably your connection is a little bit laggy, but if it's ok and the error still exists, probably ROBLOX is doing something like... IDK.

It might even have a firewall on the network that blocks this traffic. You'll want to confront the administrator of the network you're experiencing issues on.
