Of course it is, it's designed to be easy for first-time programmers it was the first language I began to understand with the help of a well-written book then I pretty much immediately understood lua then C++ became a breeze

"i'm actually struggling with lua" what parts are you struggling with? ^^ "thats why im going to the most basic one besides html" yeah imo html is easy and all but it's not really much like other languages "i really want to learn javascript" Good choice, it's easy and is used a lot and will definitely help with lua
