They both suck in the WS although the Dodgers beat the Giants out slightly. The Giants have 5 wins in 20 appearances and the Dodgers have 6 in 21. |

But the Giants have 6 World Series championships aswell. Along with more HOFers, and all time wins.

Back when the Giants were the New York Gothams and the Dodgers the Brooklyn Superbas. The first meeting was May 3rd, 1890, the first meeting between the Red Sox and the Yankees was 12 years later on April 26th, 1901.
The Giants vs Dodgers rivalry is the best in baseball. The east coast bias media just prefers to talk about east coast teams with a ton of hitting. Not west coast teams with great pitching.
Anyways the Giants lead the rivalry anyway, in regular season and post season. |
