Not long actually, way faster than most other people (Which still is odd to this day), but like I said, it's different for everyone.
One thing that REALLY helps is the ability to get all doubt out of your mind. The faster you can do that, the faster your progress will be [citation needed].

I wouldn't suggest attempting to create abstract beings for the purpose of psychological manipulation.
This can easily result in severe and psychologically destructive effects. |

When I say doubt, I mean that the doubt of if this is real or not.
So things like "Does this actually work?" or "Are tulpas real?" are questions you shouldn't ask yourself. Mills went in totally believing it and it seemed to aid him in the end.

It may be extremely hard to get pulled out of the hole
But the tulpa is supposed to help stop the digging

Basically nobody in the tulpa community has reported ill effects or psychological damaged caused from tulpas and, as tulpas are deliberately created for a reason, cause only benefits for the creator.

Abstraction is simply not the answer to your problems.
You're attempting to use abstraction as a means of making yourself oblivious to the problems you're having, yet it's only going to cause further issues.
Attempting to communicate with abstract beings will eventually distort your perception of reality and can easily induce "Psychosis" and eventual cognitive disorders.
I'd highly suggest seeking a professional "Psychologist" before you decide to resort to "Tulpae" to solve your problems. |

Floral, why did mills create you? I'm creating a tulpa because it would be nice to feel loved by someone else, to feel wanted, etc. I want a true friend, besides my internet friends.
