So my question is, what's the efficient part of the new Home page layout? It seems like everything got bigger and more annoying to navigate through. Seemed fine before. What's ROBLOX's site team's motive for it? What efficiency came from it for developers? |

The idea with the new homepage is to make it easier to get to your friends and your favorite games. When people come to ROBLOX their favorite games should be some of the first things they see. |

Most people on Roblox have a lot of friends yet they don't talk to them.

I'm pretty sure people are more concerned about their feedback than their "favorite" games.

That is true. But for the more group on people like myself, it seems more inefficient to scroll down to our group feed, to where we can read it and get to that group easier.
It seemed fine before, also if you can, tell the site team they did a great job on it. (Not being sarcastic. It does look good.) |

The recent games tab was more or less already visible and I go on that page for group shouts, i have to scroll more then a had to

I really like the look myself. It's much easier to see all the stuff I previously played. And the layout looks very organized. |

Moderators, I understand that you like the look. But, you are biased, as you work for the company. On my screen, most of the things are cut off. To me, it also feels too unorganized. I suggest for the team to stop working on website layout updates, and start focusing on things like spam bots, Suggestion Forums clean up, and in game updates. The layout has been changed enough for one year. At least make the new layout optional, so we can have it the way WE want it, please. |

I find the feed more important. Additionally having recently played and favorite games are somewhat redundant - i would assume for most people they'd play their favorite games the most. So the favorites bar can disappear.
The shout button for your profile isn't placed smartly. Needs to be placed at the top.
A minor problem with AdBlock makes the entire home page shift to the left where the ad used to be. Makes for tons of unused space on the right side.
...actually, it's still not centered on the grey background, but the middle of the screen. Right side still needs use. Maybe an ad to cover the AdBlock losses lol.
Blog news is.. useless? If I want to know ROBLOX news i'd hit the blog button. with the fact that the icon is just a blank page and it only holds two lines... uhhhwhyisithere?
The fact the feed is at the bottom makes for tons of unused space on the right side again where more blocks could go. GG. |
