It's pretty useless having our best friends on our homepage without knowing if they are online or not.

it's the blue circle with that person-figure in it if none of your bestfriends are on, they you won't be able to see it

They should fix the bugs first. I would be online playing a game, and I tell my friend to come on; it shows that I am offline and they have to find me in the 500 servers which is a pain. It shows they are online when they are not also. Fix the problems first, then add extras.
