honestly for most styles of music vintage guitars are just overall better like for real they've got character especially for fuzz driven music nnnnng them teiscos not to mention most vintage guitars are around the same price as a new guitar anyways (some even less if you know where to look)

Because people have different preferences when it comes to guitars? Why exactly do you care what guitars people play?

"Because people have different preferences when it comes to guitars? Why exactly do you care what guitars people play? " I don't I'm simply asking a question I mean I can understand if you're into metal or something so you can get that brvtal BC Rich look But otherwise vintage just seems the way to go Or at the very least used

@rene I think Rondomusic sells rickenbacker-esque guitars They might have a 12 string (Rondo makes guitars that are cheap, but they're only cheap because they're factory direct. Most people really enjoy their Agile brand) I'll check

Well They only have a 12 string les paul and two 12 string es-335 style guitars currently they have 6 string rickenbacker style guitars though @Bljad Vintage is typically considered anything manufactured prior to 1980 (or sometimes during the early 80s or the entirety of the 80s)

it was price for me, i could get a vintage but i already have a vintage yamaha acoustic and how good is my music gonna be anyway lol? getting a 100$ lefty on ebay just made more sense than obsessing over some magic audio fairy in vintage guitars that you can replicate in the mix anyway

The only vintage I have is a Dave mustaine signed one don't know why everyone wastes money over collecting them.
