Roblox, you have a community of over 34 million people.
When you make a update, make a poll if the users like it or not, and if it gets enough likes, it stays, but if it gets more dislikes, it gets removed.

@CP,
No support,
If ROBLOX were to adopt this, the majority of the updates that you have today wouldn't actually exist. The biggest example that I can give off the top of my head is packages. When they were first implemented they were heavily criticised and barely used. Now look - The majority of people now wear a "package".
You also have the issue of nostalgic people who fear any form of change. Why should the community suffer because people don't like change? |

So noobs get angry and riot irl and ingame |

>change
Changes that overload (ROBLOX is a perfect example of "change overload") makes the world the worst place ever.
Had to +1 |

Oh yeah... haven't thought of the people who let nostalgia control their roblox personality |

You seem to know everything about roblox, why don't you run it?
Oh? Too young and inexperienced? Huh. Maybe you try running a multi million dollar game. |

Hi cp, would you mind me making a re master of this thread? I think this was a little vague. I'll put your name at the bottom so i dont steal credit |

Scriptable.
Just recreate roblox.
The only difficulty is the copyright and trademark complaints by the original, but you should be fine.

Sorry, I mis spoke. Not vague, just not as fullproof as a plan as it seems. |

There should be a sort of forum for it, similar to the dev forum.
If you are a good, active member of the community, you can apply.
That way they can decide what updates will and won't be accepted without dealing with people who would just deny every update. |
|

I would agree with shadow except that none of the moderators actually look at the forums. And the ones that do don't even do anything with that suggestion or opinion. |
|
|
@2above
yeah
that would be good.
we dont need froobs ranting about the price floor and let nostalgia control their lives decide what updates can make it.

People don't like change. That's the biggest problem with this community. |
|
|
i like change if its something like dynamic lighting
but the new site theme... just no.
It takes up more then it should.
The old homepage was better, it took up less space.
I dont care if roblox is trying to be mobile friendly, they should port roblox to every other system instead of working on a ridiculously huge site theme...
99.99999999999999% of roblox uses computers more then mobile devices |
|
|
I agree. The new homepage isn't as good as the previous one. |

Support, somewhat. To prevent users from missing out on an update they want, Roblox should add a feature that allowes you to pick which updates you run and which you don't. |
