So anyways, what you had to do was just rightclick the eHome MCIR109 drivers, click Update Drivers, click Let Me Pick From A List of Device Drivers, and select HID-compliant.
I'd like this information to at least be put to use in a helpdesk article or something to help other users with this problem. It's a bug that's been documented but never fixed, and I'd like to change that.
P.S: Just to be clear, the title was supposed to be "I found a solution for the apostrophe bug a while back. At least use the info?", but it was too long.
