Are we ever going to be able to edit our forum posts? Is there a reason why we can't yet?

Also, a question. Has this been brought up before? I'm wondering because I'm surprised such a small feature has never been mentioned.

>Posts something. >Gets owned by someone. >Changes post description to look like you've not been owned & the other person is an idiot. Yeah, real smooth.

There would be, someone could make a troll thread, get loads of views, THEN change it to a link to their group so everyone'll join. You get it now? Why did you even want to know, idiot. You should know these answers yourself. That's it, not bumping this thread. If you reply, you're a jerk.

Alight, I'll count that as a 5:2 ratio.

I think a better solution would be to make it so that you must reach some sort of milestone. Like a lot of forums have a reputation system, so once you reach like, let's say 15k rep, then you'd be able to edit/delete posts. I think this would stop trolls,a nd make it so that veteran posters can edit/delete posts.

First of all, if we were allowed to edit our posts, we could say bad things then edit it and we could get away with it, so no. If you want to edit it because you made a typo, you can post your correction and/or **proofread your posts** *before clicking that Post button that the Online button covers when you are using ROBLOX+* Why do mods delete posts? Because they contain something that violate the rules. If we give anybody (or veterans only) that ability, moderators will have less power. Think (if you can) before you click that Post button that the Online button covers when you are using ROBLOX+.

This is where editing posts come in handy... Edit: What I mean by veteran posters is basically a person with a lot of reputation. It doesn't need to be a poster with 5k posts or anything like that, just anyone who earned a lot of reputation from people. So I basically propose a reputation system and a way to edit and delete posts.

@crow It doesn't airlessness give mods less power. But I get what you're coming from. I will admit that a model like this won't necessarily exist in a community like ROBLOX. What you said actually makes sense. But a reputation system would still work, and if it does work, so will an edit/delete feature. We already have a repuation system (a vote system) in place, so I see nothing wrong with that.

Seriously no support people use your brains. 1. The user must provide a reasoning why to edit the post. 2. The original post will still be avilable. +1
