The following guidelines must be followed for all LFM-TL games. UPDATED: 12/27/14 ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● [BECOMING A PLAYER]: Becoming a player can be fairly easy. Just by joining the Legendary Football Masters, you've opened yourself up to many opportunities and options to choose from. A great way to get onto a team is to regularly check the group shout for any tryouts being hosted by teams. ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● [BECOMING A COACH]: To become a coach, you must already be somewhat known in the league. Being a trusted player or board member definitely helps your case. You could also become an Assistant Coach which is elected by the Head Coach, which also gives you abilities to control the team as well. ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● [PROVISIONS OF JOINING A TEAM]: By joining a team you are NOT allowed to join any other teams. You cannot play for any other team besides the team you're apart of. Coaches can always retire and hand off their job to their trusted Assistant Coaches, or ask the Commissioner to have an application trial. ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● [LEAVING ILLEGALLY]: A player is NOT allowed to leave a team without being released or traded by the Head Coach only. If a player is caught doing this and reported to a Commissioner, the player will be put on a 2 game suspension wherever they may land in their new team. However, if a player is to leave and the incident is not reported within a week, the player is set free and can join any team of their liking. Also, players are allowed to leave their current teams during the F/A week in the off season if they wish to. ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● [TEAM ROSTER]: Teams are allowed to accommodate up to 25 players on their roster and only up to 6 coaches. Recommended: 3 AC's, 1 Coordinator for both side, 1 Assistant Head Coach. ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● [IN-GAME RULES]: The following are the game rules for the Legendary Football Masters. [PLAY CLOCK]: The play clock is set for 15 seconds after the whistle is blown. Failure to snap the ball before the 15 seconds will result in a Delay of Game taking away 5 yards. [FIELD GOALS]: Field Goals can ONLY be used during 4th down and the Line of Scrimmage must be AT LEAST on the 40 yard line. The ball must be on the 50 yard line, if the kicker is to move backwards the play will result in a Turnover on Downs. [DIVING]: Diving in the backfield is STRICTLY prohibited. [PENALTIES]: 1] Offsides: 5 yards 2] False Start: 5 yards 3] Touchback: 20 Yard line 4] Out Of Bounds Kickoff: 40 Yard Line 5] More players on field: -5 yards 6] Diving in backfield: Redo of play. [ILLEGAL SNAPPING]: Snapping illegally consists of: Snapping behind the endzone, snapping out of bounds, snapping outside of the hashes, or forward snapping. Snapping past the LoS and the ball farms harmlessly to the ground results in an incomplete. If a defensive player gets it BEFORE it lands on the ground, it is an interception. Snapping behind the LoS and missing the QB results in a fumble, QB may still throw however. [ONSIDE KICKS]: Onside kicking is allowed. There is only 1 onside kick allowed per team per game. Going over the amount will be a dead kick and the opposing team will automatically take the ball at the 50. [FAKES]: Fake plays are allowed on a punt, field goal, or any 4th down play. [EXTRA POINTS]: Teams have a choice of going for a field goal, or a 2 point conversion. Field goals are kicked at the 20 yard line and are worth 1 point. 2 point conversions are set at the 20 yard line and can be any type of play you may have in your arsenal, and are worth 2 points. [FIELD LAYOUT]: Teams have the liberty to pick their formations, line ups, etc. There doesn't have to be an "X" amount of specific positions on the field. However, a game is played with 7 players, and can go as low as 5 players before the game being called an automatic forfeit. [STARTING A PLAY]: A play cannot start until a referee has blown the whistle signaling that everyone is ready. If a team is to start before the whistle, it will result in a dead play and a redo. [SACKING]: If the rusher happens to be excessively lagging and sacks the QB, a redo is needed. If the QB happens to be excessively lagging, the sack will count. [KICKING OFF / RETURNING]: On a kickoff, the kicking team MUST kick the ball behind the 20 yard line. On a kickoff, the returning team MUST be on or behind the 15 yard line until the ball is kicked. [TIME OUTS]: Each team is given 3 time outs per half. ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● Disclaimer: Any of the content above is subject to change.
