This takes place between metroid prime 3 and return of samus. In this game, after phazon was destroyed, the federation started to make an alloy similar to phazon for military purposes. They were able to create a liquid that was highly volatile, and was superheated to about 800 degrees. When the alloy was turned into beam technology, the space pirates came to the research base and kept the beam. They kept it stored in a storage depot, with ridley’s semi-resurrected body in it. After exposure, ridley was engulfed by the beam weapon. It had ridley’s mind, and the power of phazon. Anything near it that was living was absorbed, until it was the most intelligent, powerful object in the galaxy. Seeing its potential, the space pirates made it into a new mother brain. Anything that could defeat it could use its beam weaponry. Now, all races across the galaxy are fighting, to get the new, improved phazon beam.
Races:
Armored humans – These are the people that have an advantage in defense, though offense is hard. They have chozo-built armorsuits, all with the varia and gravity suit upgrades, the power beam, the charge beam, and the missle launcher.
Luminoth – The Luminoth are nearly invincible, and have hologram projecting abilities. They are the 2nd most intelligent race that you can play as. Abilities: Shield around body, takes roughly the strength of 46 power bombs to penetrate the shield. The wave beam can penetrate the shield, though. They also have the ability to project holograms, which can cause electrical interference. They can also generate orbs of light.
Chozo – The chozo are a bird-like species with high intelligence and strength levels, though they have ranging shielding abilities. They wear chozo armorsuits, and can use energy tanks to add more shielding. They have the spazer, ice, wave, and plasma beams. The power suits don’t have any missle or charge beam technology, due to the armored humans raiding their technology. They have the ability to use all armorsuit upgrades, if they can find them.
Space pirates – The space pirates were overpowered by mother brain, and it covered tourian with a gate. Only a super missle could penetrate the first layer, only the flamethrower could break the second lock, the wavebuster to the third one, and the ice spreader to the fourth. After that, only space pirate weaponry could open the final door. The space pirates seem to be the main target, since they have attacked all 3 other races in some way or another. They have only a wrist-mounted blaster. A sample of phazon in a space pirate lab was used to create elite pirates, a more powerful strain only weak to super missles.

Pew stopped at the impact crater on Tallon IV. Light poured out of it, into his beam. Energy spewed everywhere, until His plasma beam split in half, spewing flames, though only for about 3 seconds. He facepalmed, realizing he needed a charge beam and missles to use the flamethrower. |

Pew was returning to the space pirate base, only to see Hyndrer fighting the omege pirate. The omega pirate swung at Hyndrer, and reduced his energy to 1. At the last secong, Pew threw an energy tank at Hyndrer. Hyndrer now had 700 energy. |

Pew suddenly saw his oppritunity to get more power. He Got out his plasma beam, and set it near Hynder's Armor. He blasted a hole in his visor and walked away. "You cant trust anyone when there's a phazon beam at stake" He said. |
