I think there should be an option to thumb up or down comments. Then it could display the comments with the most thumbs up to the least. You would have a certain limit to the amount of comments you could thumb up or down on that page and once the limit is reached for that page, you have to wait a certain time before you can do it on that page again.

I think if that were allowed, certain comments would be spammed with thumbs down.

Good idea, and to rate the comment you have to verify your e-mail and your account must be 1 day old.
