I thought it would be cool if you could disable like ratings because people make fake accounts and purposely dislike my games.

Whilst it's possible that someone could make fake accounts to purposely target you, but it's unlikely. The feature exists to allow other users to see the legitimacy of the game and whether they should play it, especially when the comments are off (as they usually are). If you don't want ratings, don't open the game to people. |

No support for the same reasons DataStore said, as well as...
An account must be verified for the user to like or dislike the game in the first place, so most people simply wouldn't bother with that.
Secondly, intentional dislikes isn't much of a problem in the first place.

No support, people can simply make a nasty game with a fake thumbnail and title. People will come because they shouldn't see any cats.

I somewhat support but I don't support, also.
Why I don't:
~(as mentioned before) the point of ratings is so people don't have to waste their time (Even if it's just a few seconds) because comments are almost ALWAYS off.
~ There ARE people who spend their time verifying and making a million (not literally) accounts just to dislike.
Why I do:
~ It should be optional, but it'll just end up like comments: turned off and then the people will have no option but to play if they really want to know what it is. |

@Cp, I played your FM trash game, which you definitely didn't script (Are you lying about that, since you confessed to being 10), and it has 38-28 thumbs which is far more than it deserves. And if that isn't your 'WIP' game, then where is it? And if it's not public, you can't play it to thumb it down, and also, there is good reason to not like you.
You guys give this forum a terrible reputation for liers.

Everyone knew there would be an issue with thumbs up and thumbs down.
Some people just don't like the content, for whatever reason, and thumbs down.
This goes for youtube as well. People dislike videos for whatever reason.
Without the feature, many users would play games thinking it's a great game, but in reality it isn't.
Of course there's the whole thumbs up glitch that ROBLOX still has to fix.

I agree.
People bump their trash free-model places to the front page by spamming up votes on alts, which is unfair to people that actually make games. |
