also outdated laws that allowed police brutality (which had been ruled unconstitutional many years prior to this case) were presented to the jury of the darren wilson indictment trial as current laws, aka they knowingly lied to the jurors.

there's also a current law in missouri that said that, regardless of what the initial crime is, a police officer can shoot anyone either approaching or running away from him
7 out of the 25 witnesses said that mike brown was either running away or approaching him, and 6 said he turned around (from not facing the officer to facing the officer, without any command to do so) |

i do admit that did sound very conspiracy theory-ish but what I mean't was that there are faults in the legal systems but everyone is so obsessed with believing that america is the perfect land of freedom when there are many social and political problems going on |

yeah i completely agree after the chokehold case
like
in the mike brown case, both sides had legitimate arguments. it'd be ignorant to deny that.
but in eric garner's case there /literally/ isn't any case you could make to support the officer
there needs to be a stricter police acceptance system and definitely for prosecutors that helps filter out racist bias as best as possible (the biggest problem in the micheal brown case was that the prosecutor was so corrupt and ended up defending darren wilson more than prosecuting him |
