if nasa build like
a huge hollow tube on the mooon
attached it to earth
make it all airtight
add doors on each end
and to go to the moon you get in the earth end of the pipe and close the door
they open the door on the moon and the air goes to the moon bc no air pressire
and u get sucked up like a space straw
nd u go to the the moon

I remember that space elevator idea... Thing.
Then again, it was flawed.

no this is space straw, you go in with nothing but your clothes on your back and you get sucked up to the moon |

the earth rotates but the moon doesn't the straw would be broken.

no the earth will be swining the moon around like robotniks first mahine in sonic hegehog like a wrecking ball |

'the earth rotates but the moon doesn't the straw would be broken. '
the space tube would hold the moon in place |

"the space tube would hold the moon in Place"
The moon's mass > the tube's mass.
...Unless you were to make it out of an incredibly dense undiscovered material that cannot exist in this universe.

it wouldnt be actually holidng it in place itll swing the moon around like a ball n chain |

just pump the moon with helium to decrease its mass |
|
|
right yeah just get digdug on the horn |

"just pump the moon with helium to decrease its mass"
Helium leaks out due to the moon's greater density.

it does good at killing pooka even though flesh is more dense than helium |

if it swung the moon the world would get flooded. the moon controls tides
Moms spaghetti™ |
|

it wouldnt get flooded since itd always be in relatively the same place |

the moon being swung around will. we can't interfere with it or else something bad will happen
Moms spaghetti™ |
|
|
it wont be swung around actually |
|
|
Due to tidal forces and the speed of the moon, the tube would be ripped apart. It would take months to get to the moon through the tube.

what ever nerd itd be cool |

"and u get sucked up like a space straw"
we uses gases and differential pressures to get into space
except heating the gases to a few thousand degrees makes it more efficient, but deadly for people |

The huge problem with this is that in order to do so, the moon would have to be tidally locked to Earth. This itself presents immediate problems. First problem in hand is that the center of gravity between the Earth and moon would be off. The moon has gravitational influence on the Earth, enough to actually shift it while it revolves. Another problem is that the Earth is revolving faster than the moon goes around it, so you would have decelerating forces acting on the tube itself. Even if you manage to slow down the Moon and connect it to the Earth. The center of gravity would be off and would put tremendous pressure on the lower part of the tube. |

Its a highly dangerous idea
If we attach it between earth and the moon, it could cause devestation to earth. The moon is responsible for many things, ssuch as keeping tides how they are. Think, the earth roates and orbits the sun, the moon doesn't rotate and orbits earth, it'd cause havoc
Uhh... No. |

But do not be discourage of thinking about fantastical ideas.
Take these discrepancies in your theory and make it possible.
It will be possible with a little thinking.
The problems of staying a scientist in an early age is that you easily get discouraged by others. But that's the beauty of it. The realization that there's more to learn.
