I can relate to the title in terms of friends, at the very least. Try just being friends for a long time. ~Happy Holidays and a New Year~

Do what you must. Nothing wrong with ODing, imo, it's just a matter of how well you know the person. glory to arstotzka / R$47,965

"I know why its bad, but I prefer not to say." It's got personal limitations that you have to understand when going into it. You have to understand you can't be /close/ to said person in most circumstances and that you'll only know them briefly in most occasions. Am I correct with my assumption? glory to arstotzka / R$47,965

I guess I could elaborate. The fact that even if you know them well, perhaps they are an ocean away, a continent, and the fact that there is no way to really meet them for a very long time. Now, if you do eventually meet them, that'd be really lucky, but over a period of even 2 years most people would have gone on by then. Its painful, really, liking someone, but knowing you have almost zero chance with them. I talk about it like I know about it, right? Well, it has happened before. It might even be going on now, I dont really know too much about it. But anyways, I've dug myself into a hole and I'm having trouble coming out. Just dont, it's not a good idea. ~Happy Holidays and a New Year~

Love is not permitted. It reveals weakness and happiness, two emotions of witch we cannot afford in a society of strength.

"The fact that even if you know them well, perhaps they are an ocean away, a continent, and the fact that there is no way to really meet them for a very long time. " Unfortunate, but it's the limitation of this day and age. I've accepted at this point the odds of me meeting an OT'er are next to nil without some organized plan when I'm 18. "Now, if you do eventually meet them, that'd be really lucky, but over a period of even 2 years most people would have gone on by then." This isn't as much of a crutch as you'd think. If you're committed enough to actually meet each other, than the spark is definitely there. "Its painful, really, liking someone, but knowing you have almost zero chance with them. I talk about it like I know about it, right?" It's safe to say this is true, I must admit. "Well, it has happened before. It might even be going on now, I dont really know too much about it. But anyways, I've dug myself into a hole and I'm having trouble coming out. Just dont, it's not a good idea." You've got to mentally condition yourself for it, and that's where most people go wrong. They don't understand the implications of it in the end and end up hurting themselves. Also, you're using grammar, just noticed that, and it's pretty unlike you.
