Here's an idea:
Make it so a user can create a 'Savings Account' for tix, which would automatically take 2 tix out of the 10 that they receive get every day for logging in.
Once the amount reaches either 250 or 500 tix, a +5-8% bonus is added as a reward for saving responsibly. (similar to earning interest in a real life savings account)
However, if the user decide to close the "Savings Account" before the full amount is reached, then they will only receive 80% of the tix back. (Losing some tix)
This would give younger users an opportunity to learn about managing their own finances before they are thrown into the real world.

If you aren't going to make any valuable contributions to the discussion in this thread, you should just leave.
Though if you're staying, then tell me how this idea could be abused, that is why I specifically said in my post :

The whole point of discussion in these threads isn't to just shoot down idea, but discuss either why they won't work, or how they could be improved. |

I like the Idea. It can be great for investors looking to save up for a cool hat they want or to pay someone for something like a thumbnail.

They can do that now with multiple alts anyway, just log in everyday on each one, and buy something from the main account.
But aside from this, are there any other way that this could be abused? You said 'flaws', which is plural- meaning there are other problems. |

5% - 8% interest is very generous.
Most banks in real life don't even give you 1%. They give you about .5%.
So 500 tickets at 5% interest (simple interest) would give you 25 tickets in one year.
In real life you'd only make 2.50, meaning you have a 900% increase from real life.

Well telling me that I'll only get a 1% bonus isn't going to encourage me to create a savings account in real life.
Though I will admit that 5-8% is a bit generous.. maybe lower it down to 3%.. |

No, 5% is prefectly fine.
25 tickets off 500 in one year at 5% interest isn't really too exploitable.

I like the idea that it automatically takes out stuff, but really, you should be able to control if it takes it or not. Also, you should be able to manually add a certain amount of tix. |
