TFC is definitely the winner Not only do they get a striker who wants to actually be there they sold Defoe for $11 million while picking up Altidore in allocation

Altidore will shine in MLS, just like he did in the Netherlands. Defoe was an injury-plagued clubhouse cancer to Toronto. It's not like Sunderland will improve very much from this deal. Defoe isn't going to be a world beater by any means.
