i mean, we always say these things are "exploit proof" and in a matter of months or weeks it gets exploited
it's a pain in the ass to work with so someone tell me if it's worth it or not |

ali that's something that could eventually and will probably be exploited in a matter of time |

i can't name a single clan that is active and uses filteringenabled |

i don't think i'll use it honestly, regardless of what it does it'll be exploited eventually |

you wouldn't be able to tell if it was or not unless you actually tried to exploit and you were denied.
filterining enabled does nothing but severe server/client communication without remoteevents and the likes. you wouldn't just notice the game to have filtering enabled. i wouldn't doubt that a lot of the decent games on the front page are filtering enabled, it's just: why would you notice?

'regardless of what it does it'll be exploited eventually'
and i don't think you understand. you can't exploit it because of what it does. just like you can't exploit normal scripts source code (you can exploit localscripts but that's different), filtering enabled literally cuts server/client communication. there's really not much you can do with filteringenabled.

okay |
|
|
actually i take it back
if you are doing a large project- then yes
if you working on something you know you won't care about within the next month or so- then no |

But what's the point on wasting dev time worrying with hackers?
Hackers are going to exploit and they don't even matter anyway.
It's an inconvenience but you never hear about a clan dying because "omg someone godded themselves at fort" doesn't affect anything but that server.
It seems like a really annoying task for a relatively small problem. |

don that's pretty much exactly what i think of it
and let's be honest, it's GOING to be exploited and bypassed lol |

@Don- There are exploiters who only exploit to kill a clan's activity therefore killing the clan Example- BlueDropz

BlueDropz does more than just exploit a clan, which gets him deleted constantly and makes him not much of a problem |
|
|
have you ever heard of a prominent clan dying because of hacking?
sure its an inconvenience but it's still debatable whether or not it's worth the trouble |
|

He doesn't do more then just exploit..?
I used to be best buds with him. He'd just get deleted for "Exploiting" lol
He's not like final
He'd sell the exploit to scrubs for high price.
Its how he'd always get gstf+

Asking this is like asking if you should put any protection at a bank, if people are just going to rob a bank anyway why have any measures to stop them. |

even with exploiters like that, rsf for example, constantly exploited and is still active, etc |
