I understand that I did use some OP pictures because ROBLOX has never cared before but consider the following:
1. I sold no features for this game and from my youtube views on the trailer I made for a fangame that took me 7 weeks, I made about 5 dollars. I did remove the images, so thats besides the point. But don't even try to suddenly change the rules and act like I'm at fault or presume I don't have permission. It was a clone of the original game for Xbox. That was kind of the joke and the game itself takes 5 minutes to complete.
As for the monetization, I brought this issue up before DevEx. I make very little from my YouTube trailers for my games. But over the course of the month, they add up to about 50 dollars. Before DevEx I created a trailer for Rukiryo and monetised it, and made him a little money for half a year motivating him to continue developing on ROBLOX. I made the fact that I monetized very clear to most of the staff and requested it be removed, which you agreed with me on. Months later you added DevEx and I noticed the amount I made from these trailers was cut by a lot at the same time, except for rukiryo's video which continue to make the same amount, so I kept giving him is money until that stopped.
I make about 60 dollars a month from my combined game trailers. When I started developing on ROBLOX, you had what? 10 staff members. How many do you have now? Explain to me why you have this many? What have any of these people done for me? Your blogs isolated me to the point my games get mass flamed from being copied, making me lose all motivation, flip out and give up on that project. Two developers copied this game and because their game hit the roof, I got a tonne of hate for stealing my most original game aside from MABA, Friazascape. It didn't help that the maker got advertised by Telamon for mentioning him in his ads. Note that during this game you allowed my games to be stolen, all my game code read, used. I also had large groups personally accuse me of stealing this from BB studio which you did nothing about. In the end trying to save this game on third college year's end of last semester, I barely failed my course because I was too set on trying to save Friazascape. Do you know what it feels like to spent a year making something, only to have three of the most famous figures on ROBLOX make it look like you totally stole it and turn all your players (And Khols) against you except the first 1,000?

Anyway back to the point. I don't make much from MY trailer for MY game. I make what? 50 dollars a month for 130,000 views (Note that you make more money than that from your own ads on the page and the intro ad)
I have worked more hours on ROBLOX than any other developer or staff member. I GAURANTEE IT. I make roughly £2 an hour wages and my games require ridiculous amounts of motivation to make considering a large amount of ROBLOX thinks I steal all my games or set their personal harassment groups against me.
I am one of the developers that got you from 10 staff members to about 80. You have no right to chastize me for making about 40% of each of your income from my work. I know fine well it took a few of you to make ROBLOX, but you do realize your engine isn't that special? It's just that one of my few talents is making anything with a few tools. I could just have easily have done this on Unity. So maybe you should back off about 100 meters, think about what you've done and consider exactly what you think about your users. I am an adult too, and I am in no way inferior to you, I also work far harder than you.

I mean I requested the rule against monetization be removed. Instead it got lowered and devex was introduced. |
