It's the officials' job to make sure the balls are properly inflated. So even if the balls weren't properly inflated, it's not the Patriots' fault.

According to the NFL, footballs used during the Colts vs Patriots game are now being tested, I believe a regular football needs 13.5-15.5 pounds of air inside. If they did use deflated balls, the Pats would have had a huge advantage, this makes hand-offs easier and passes easier to be caught. If the Patriots did use deflated balls and the National Football League finds out, this could lead to a loss of some fans plus future draft picks will be taken away from the franchise. All we can do is wait for now, guys.
